Very unfriendly and very unhelpful store. Bad vibes.
Go to the East Cobb store ----- it is 1,000X better with merchandise, staff and attitude. I just spent a fortune in East Cobb, I will not spend one more penny in Alpharetta.

Absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered. I was taking something back for my mom who has had health issues and I have a 1 year old so not the easiest to get by to return stuff. One lady told me that even though it was only a few days over the 60 days that they could override it and return it. Then another lady came up and said absolutely not. We will not do that and you're out of luck. They have overridden it before as my mom doesn't have a Talbots nearby and drives an hour to one. But this time absolutely not.

I came into the Northpoint mall store today to return some clothing. I had a brief look around, tried some clothes on before going to the counter to get my return processed. There were two assistants there, one helping a customer on the phone, and another doing something with some clothing. (no problem). I went through to the petite section and there was no-one at that counter, so I returned to the main one (no problem).Several key issues that led to this customer getting “angry” which was announced loudly to everyone who could hear.1. The woman dealing with some clothing at the counter, told me she said she would be with me in a few mintutes (no problem). When she finished she said again she would be with me in a minute and would be right back; she wasn’t and didn’t.2. I wait some more, and still no-one comes to the counter. I spot another employee who is tidying racks of clothing, and she comes over, suggest I go to the petite section counter, and although there is now someone there, she is dealing with another customer, so I start waiting (no problem).3. The other employee who suggested I went there came to me and said she will help me at the main counter (again, no problem). However, the store was getting busy and so she walks off to the other side of the store and doesn’t come back (starting to be a problem).4. Meanwhile the other assistant who went off first, returns to the counter area, and starts helping another customer (now certainly a problem).5. At this point, I asked loudly if someone was actually going to serve me, because it didn’t feel as if anyone was. At this point, another employee who I’d seen briefly when I entered the store, came back, grumbling that the other person should have helped me (just increases my overall lack of satisfaction with this visit - a problem).I love Talbots clothing, but the in-store shopping experience is less than satisfying, which is a strong factor in why I prefer to shop online.

Very disappointing service in Talbots Northpoint. I had bought 4 tops and was hoping to apply the 20$ coupon ( which was sent to me specifying ‘ unconditional use ‘ on any item within a certain date ).When I ordered , coupon was applied towards all items . But when I returned 3 items expectation was the coupon would get applied towards the item that I am keeping. But they did the other way .Strange! Talbots need to make their algorithm correct . any retail stores will honor the coupon and apply it towards the item that is being kept . No wonder when all the other stores have heavy traffic this place seemed empty?

I came to this location from Tucker with my mother because she loves this store. We were not greeted at all! If I was a secret shopper, they would have failed. I will not be back!!

I like the clothes, but they're horribly overpriced. Regardless, I really needed something for a special occasion, so decided to suck it up and buy a nice dress or outfit. No one greeted me as I walked in, and not one of the sales people ever said a word to me, even tho I walked around for a good half hour looking at merchandise. It had to obvious that I was seriously shopping, but absolutely no help from anyone. This was on a weekday afternoon, not a busy weekend. You'd think that a company on the verge of insolvency just a year ago would be more interested in actually selling stuff.

These prices are horrible! Claire's jewelry is better than this. & lemons aren't going to save this store. My mother paid 120$ for a pair of pants. At least the workers are nice..
