The customer service could be better. I picked up an UberEats order around 4pm on Feb. 23, 2024. The young man at the register (maybe 20-22 years old) was very aloof when I realize after walking out to my car with 3 boxes of pizza that the garlic hadn’t just spilled slightly onto the cardboard, but was spilling everywhere, getting on my hands, pants, and Nike half-zip pullover ($70).I asked for napkins and he didn’t even acknowledge me, just taking the boxes and had the staff repackage the order correctly. He later hands me the napkins. He came across rude and I had not done anything to him. Couldn’t tell whether he was just having a bad day or if rude is his default. Either way, have someone else work the register if you can’t be a step above rude when interfacing with the public.

Good Pappa Johns location. Always fast with the pizzas for pickup and staff is always courteous.

On labor day i got a large pizza with 5 toppings and it was 1 of the worst pizzas i got in the couple years....no taste, small amount of toppings .It has been over 5 years i didn't get a pizza from papa John's and this is gonna be the last time..when you try antico pizza in Avalon you will see the difference and the real pizza taste ,even cicis pizza tastes better.

If you don't have drivers don't take orders for delivery. Ordered 1 pizza at 5:20. It is 7:42 and eta is still 48-58 minutes according to the tracker. We had ham sandwiches instead. Should have ordered somewhere else.

The staff running this place have the best customer service, the pizza was enjoyed by our office off Jones Bridge Rd. They offered us plates and extra toppings to make up for all the mouths we're feeding. Will definitely be back! Not to mention the pizza was cooked perfectly and the cheese sticks were delicious.

You've got to be kidding me. The young lady who works here needs some serious training. I've encountered some very friendly employees here, but have come across her at least twice and she's horrible. Bad attitude and will likely drive good customers away. This is what she tried to give me tonight (never seen garlic knots look like this and they smelled like cheese). She got an attitude when I asked about them and even worse when I asked for a refund and gave them back! She needs to stay away from customers!

Everything was good. Except half the pizza was supposed to be pepperoni, and only 3 slices had pepperoni on them. Also, It was a "No Contact Delivery", but the delivery driver banged on our door for five minutes. Finally we went out there to ask him if everything was ok, and he said that he needed a signature, and needed the receipt to be finished. It even says "No Contact" on the receipt. So, three stars.

My family enjoys the pizza, which is usually made fairly well, so I'll give it 3 stars for being decent Papa John's if that's what you're looking for. A few trips back, the Garlic Sauce in one of the two pizza boxes had a lid that wasn't fully secured, so when I got it home, the bottom of the top pizza box was covered in Garlic Sauce. Thankfully it did not get on the car seat or anywhere else. I never use the Garlic Sauce, so it made the pizza I ate that night worse, but didn't make the meal inedible. I filled out my survey and said I would like a follow up from someone at the store. I figured if this was happening to other people, they could be aware of it, and that if we were a one-off, they could apologize and as long as it didn't happen again, it'd be fine. No one ever got back to me, so the next time I went into the store for pick up, I asked if there was a manager. There was a very young shift manager who simply said, "Uh, yeah, they probably will get back to you, but that's not something we'd handle out of this store. They're probably just busy so that's why you haven't heard back." It certainly feels like the store and the people handling the survey don't care enough to follow up on an issue, so my family started trying Domino's. The local Domino's is right down the street, so we tried that with good results. It's been about three months since my last Papa John's order and I'm spending less and getting pizza I like more, so I probably won't be giving them my business again any time soon.
