Absolutely loved this studio! I’ve tried out their classes through ClassPass and everyone there very nice. The facility is nice and clean, the women’s locker room is spacious and well kept, offering showers and lockers to store your belongings. They also provide yoga mats in case you happen to forget yours. I look forward to hopefully having a chance to try their pilates class in the future.

The woman subbing for the Yoga Basics class on Thursday, October 6th, needs to learn and practice empathy--I think her name is Veronica. I am not new to yoga but take this class because I have medical conditions that limit my mobility--specifically when standing and she made it a point to constantly call me out. First it was my hands, then it was my socks, then it was how far my legs were apart. Modifications exist for a reason and she didn't seem to think they existed and was very passive about it whenever i would respond to her rudeness. I was tense when I came in because I was dealing with a problematic student at school and needed this class to lessen my tension. Sadly, I walked out even more tense. I typically come here because it's close to my work but after that session on Thursday, I won't be returning.

I just had the best massage from Peter last night. I was treated to two hours of pure bliss and feel so much lighter today. He was able to release a lot in my neck and shoulders. Thank you so much for providing me with much needed relief! Definitely recommend.

Had a massage and cupping with Peter and the detail he put into it was amazing. He was so informative of the reasons behind some of my ailments and gave me great guidelines on how to improve it. Will definitely be back and also passing it along to my friends!

I was a member of ClassPass and hopped around different studios in search of the one. The one that is unique, eclectic, open hearted/minded, and spoke to my practice. Oya is it. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted kindly by the staff and teacher and the studio is incredibly beautiful. There is art, health conscious products, boutique style items and a community feel. They host a number of events such as sound baths, healing circles, health education, and various yoga workshops. Each teacher has their own vibe, style that meets whatever needs you have. All of them are conscious of alignment, breath, and helping me to create and build upon my practice. I have also found a community here which I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. This is not a cookie cutter studio, it’s one of a kind and my yoga practice has become so much stronger.Oya also has a Wellness room - they provide services such as Reiki and massage therapy.I had the pleasure of having a couple of sessions with Catherine Phillipe who is a healer, Master Reiki practitioner and specializes in shamanic healing as well. I was going through a difficult time and she was able to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for me. She helped clear my mind and body of the suffering I was dealing with, helped align the chakras and would follow up with me post sessions. She truly cares about you and is a wealth of knowledge. She helped my friend as well who is dealing with extreme burn out. After her one session, she was totally refreshed the next morning and felt much lighter. Thank you, Catherine!I met Peter, Oya’s massage therapist who specializes in Gua Sha and Cupping. I have never had a massage that has even come close to this one. Peter created a soothing and relaxing environment, listened to my body pains and guided me towards healing. I am so grateful. He allowed me to release so many years of emotional stagnation and blockages in my body that I didn’t even know was still there. I dealt with it in my heart and head, yet my body kept the score of it all. Peter truly has a healing gift, he is kind and dedicated to his work. I won’t go anywhere else. Peter is it. Thank you, Peter.

Kathy Shaul's roll and release class has totally changed my life. Kathy is a fabulous instructor - she is very knowledgeable about biomechanics, pleasant, and very caring. I have chronic muscle tension and this class has enabled me to gain mobility that I lost 5 years ago. If you sit a lot at work, try this class. It is life changing. I carry the therapy balls with me everywhere now - on car rides, at my desk, or simply at night when winding down in front of TV. If you are sore and not as flexible as you once were, TRY THIS. You wont regret it!

Great studio in historic downtown Alpharetta. I loved Emma’s Connected Flow class. Emma is a considerate, natural yoga teacher. Her relaxed demeanor and joyful personality set the tone for a wonderful class. The posture flow is vigorous enough to merit the resting Shavasana at the end. Emma is very good with her yoga posture refinements.

The cutest little yoga studio located in downtown Alpharetta. i love using Classpass and saw Oya Yoga on there so decided to try it out. It is one of the best yoga studios I have been to. The classes are small and never crowded. All of the instructors are helpful. The studio itself is very clean and beautiful.
