LADIES BEWARE! We've lived in Alpharetta approaching 10 years and patronized Old Milton Beverage occasionally throughout this time. Stopped in today to pickup a couple items...that will be my last visit! Upon entering, the young man behind the counter stopped me and told me I was not allowed to keep my purse, saying I would need to leave it with him at the counter...WHAT? Needless to say, I left immediately. Not sure what world the owners of Old Milton Beverage are from, but with identity theft on the rise, no woman in her right mind should be comfortable leaving their purse with a complete stranger. Might want to reconsider this policy before you start hemorrhaging customers.

Being a part-time bourbon hunter over the last 3-4 months. I visit package stores in the area a couple times a week. Visited this store last week and was impressed by the selection. Yet depressed by the prices. Very few bottles were priced reasonably. The rest were $20-$40 more than other stores within 5 miles of this place. The man at the register then showed me the bottles bourbon hunters are looking for. Blantons, Stagg, EH Taylor, Eagle Rare, Weller, BT, etc... These were in the $200-$300 range. This is probably 5X of MSRP. All for small business to make a profit but they must be selling to ignorant customers.

YES, they carry Uncle Nearest (original and rye)!!!!! Old Milton Beverage has a wide variety of fine spirits. They are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help. I drive past several package stores to get here. They have one of the best selections in the area.

Not the best experience ordering delivery. I ordered a 12 pack of beer & was sent a 6 pack, but still charged the same. Now, I wasn't planning on drinking more than a couple that night, so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. However, delivery is expensive, so I like to get the most bang for my buck when I order out. It's just sloppy, lazy, inconsiderate behavior that means they don't care about their customers. I won't be spending any more of my time or money here.

WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! They are crooks. Called their store today BEFORE going there to check stock on a bottle of bourbon that they said was in stock and the price they quoted on the phone was $29. Showed up same day and they said the price was $49!!! Needless to say I did NOT purchase nor will I ever go back!

Following me around the store continuously asking me if he can help me over and over and over even tho I kept saying no. Then called the cops and told them to tell me to leave. "He didn't want my business" yes I am a big black guy with dreads .

This is a nice place. Not too far away from Avalon. They stay open later than other stores. Local for sure.
