My son is in the private pre-K class and it is awesome. Small ratios, loving teachers, and cool field trips. He enjoys coming to school everyday and I don’t worry.

We love Oak Grove. They have been our family for 2 years and we highly recommend their numerous programs. Jessica Dawson as Director is dependable and runs a tight ship, while teachers like Mrs. Sandra remind you its okay to smile each day when you drop off your little, because you know they are loved and safe and growing strong. It's been a blessing and a pleasure to know everyone at Oak Grove. They pour a lot of love into the children, and I would recommend them to anyone.

The teachers are amazing and my kids are very happy there. Communication is great throughout the day and at pick up/drop off, I can view my kids’ classrooms when I want throughout the day to check in on how they are doing, and the entire staff is incredible. They truly go above and beyond to make it a great experience for the kids and to teach them. My oldest is almost three and he’s learned a tremendous amount there and they helped me potty train him easily - it was seamless. We love Oak Grove!

Rude, disrespectful staff. 10/10 would NEVER allow them to care for my child. What a disgrace.........

Our son has been attending Oak Grove Academy for 2 years and we couldn’t be happier about his development over that period of time. The entire staff really cares about each student and our son can’t wait to get into class and see what activities are in store for him and his classmates each day. We wouldn’t consider sending our son anywhere else.

Our daughter is going to Oak grove from almost a year now, and I am so happy that we made this decision, she is growing every day, we get to know so many things that she learns at School she just turned 2 but knows Alphabets not just that she can also recognize them too, she surprises us everyday!I love how flexible they have been since day one with all our Requests, the camera access has been such a huge help, when she was just a year old and we were most day worried if she is been doing fine, but we saw how the teachers care for the kids individually and that helped maintaining our trust with them! The only thing I would want them to introduce is more healthy food options for kids but other than that, I feel I am very happy with everything else at the School! Totally recommend it?

My kid goes to OGA and she loves it. The staff is very caring and the daily routine in their classroom is very productive. My kid has learnt many new things. They have a very good and packed curriculum covering English, numbers, Spanish, learning about different countries and special guest visits/activities regularly. Ms Angie is a wonderful teacher and one of the reasons for us to enroll our kid here. The admin team, Ms Melissa/Ms Jessica/Ms Sarah are also wonderful and helpful. The only suggestion I may have is that during summer camp, on certain days there wasn't much going on. Other than that, OGA was the right decision for us and I can recommend it to others.

It’s a great feeling to leave your daughter somewhere and know she is being well cared for and learning at the same time.

We (along with many other families) left Oak Grove Academy in Feb 2023 for better care and education elsewhere. Despite talking a lot about the curriculum, Oak Grove really just provides babysitting services. They will show you the binders of curriculum and that it's posted outside the classroom door. But curriculum is only as good as how well its implemented. There was little education or development during our time there. The staff at Oak Grove is babysitting, not educating. The large classrooms look fantastic, until you realize how many kids they have in a classroom. They will tell you that they meet state requirements for teacher/student ratios, but just because you CAN have so many kids in a classroom doesn't mean that you SHOULD. Classrooms are chaotic and teachers are overwhelmed. There were a number of other issues during our time with Oak Grove, but the overall issue is that you can get better for your money. Oak Grove may seem cheaper at first, but other daycares include extracurriculars in the tuition that Oak Grove charges extra for. By the time you include the cost of extracurriculars, Oak Grove is not cheaper. Also, Oak Grove had parents provide food and supplies for holiday parties, but at our new school all holiday parties, egg hunts, etc are funded by the school. So much more convenient for the parents! We regret the time we wasted at Oak Grove and are so much happier with our new school.-------------------------Note about the response from the school: Again, they quotes ratios. Be sure to ask how many kids total are in the class and how many of the adults in the class are true teachers versus helpers/assistants. I know that at one point there were almost 30 kids in my child's class. That is simply too many toddlers in a room. That said, considering the number of families who unenrolled their kids this year, the ratios probably have improved... but not for the right reasons. Also said in the initial review, the leadership talks a lot about the curriculum... but the curriculum is only as good as how well it's implemented. Lastly, why on earth would the owner want to contact me months after we have left other than to attempt to improve my review? If they were truly concerned, they would have worked on improving the situation before we and other families chose to leave.
