DO NOT GO TO NORTHSIDE! DO NOT GIVE THEM INSURANCE. ASK FOR SELF PAY RATE. I would give zero stars if I could. Northside is deliberately not disclosing all rates / payment options up front. Pediatric Radiology admitted that they are told not to be transparent about all payment options up front and to only share the self pay rate if the patient specifically requests it, and that she is "following the process and saying what Northside has instructed her to say." I've had 4 different teams lie to me over the phone - Pediatric Radiology, Business Office, Orthopaedic scheduling, and pre-registration. They ONLY care about making as much money as possible with the least amount of effort at the patient's expense. This is a clear cut case of bad faith and consumer fraud.

Deceiving billing practice but it is really Northside Hospital billing is exuberant and beyond horrible. They do not disclose up front any cost or bills worth thousands of dollars that come after a "screening" procedure. They should have a courtesy to tell patients up front that any procedure that is done with them that due to "facility charges with Northside Hospital" will cost the patient literally thousands of dollars. For a plain screening colonoscopy (that is a colonoscopy without any "diagnostics" without polyps, no complications, no special anesthesia, only one medication with Propofol for anesthesia will cost you $8000. It's not the doctors' bills (GI and anesthesiologist) that cost about $800 (that's not too bad), but NSH it self just for their outpatient facility charges more than $7000. It is ridiculous exuberant Northside Hospital charges for a simple procedure that takes only 45 mins from start to finish will cost $8000!!!

We had another incredible experience here. My daughter has had four procedures here over the last six years, and each time, the staff was caring and attentive from check-in to check-out. The facility is very clean and modern as well.

The nurses were extremely caring and sweet to me. I came in with a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst and they were so sweet and caring. This facility is receiving 2 stars for the amount of time I had to wait to receive results for any sort of medication. I had to wait 5 days for my results and sit in pain throughout an entire weekend.Dr momin does not communicate with her patients well

This is about the Alpharetta Outpatient Surgery operation of Northside. I'm not sure where the best place to post this is, but I'll do it here just to help balance out some of the other comments. I had outpatient surgery December 9, 2022. Every part of my experience was positive. The pre-admission interview was thorough, professional, and caring. The admission desk person (I don't have her name) was positive and friendly. The nurses in the operating center (Outpatient Surgery Team) were caring, professional, worked as a real team, and triple-checked everything. Pre-op Chloe and Tami; OR Jinsu, Anna, and Lexi; and PACU Michaela all deserve a 100% positive mention. The Anesthesiologist was great. They all made me feel like I was their only patient. I couldn't really ask for a better experience.

Service is hit or miss. Our main problem, the lack of response. They’ve sent an invoice with a $0 balance twice per week for months. We’ve received about 50. I’ve notified them multiple times. I have further requested that they send billing electronically, which they won’t. The number of trees they’re killing is next-level.

Long long wait. Unorganized. Front and check were rude. X-ray equipment very old. Do we need more rads?!

I saw Dr. Drahush for an issue I’ve had for months now. He offered no solutions, and he told me that “Something doesn’t add up, this pain doesn't seem real.” He was 30 minutes late to start my appt, and belittled a very real issue I feel. I asked for any kind of alternate courses of action and he said to find another doctor to help me. I wish I was kidding. This place will waste your time and money, and I’ve gotten more help from WebMD than Dr. Drahush.

Please avoid this place, no matter what your paediatrician says.Even with a very good insurance for a small blood test you will get a huge bill(in my case 1200$). Do not trust the front desk for pricing information. Always check with your insurance for costs.

My sister gave birth at this hospital a couple weeks ago and we learned that they only staffed ONE doctor during the weekend, as if babies choose to come out on Monday - Friday over a weekend. Mid birth doctor tells my sister to "close her legs" because she had to run off to tend to a premie, which I am sure was a bigger revenue maker for them. After she came back and continued the birth, the baby got stuck and 4 other nurses had to jump on my sisters stomach to push the baby out who came out not crying from being in shock. It is a miracle everything turned out OK. The baby's head was squished into a cone because she was just hanging out in the birth canal for 20 minutes waiting on the doctor. You don't need to have birthing experience to think about how horrible this was for the mother. We are so lucky the baby was revived and started crying after a few minutes of the nurse staff working on her. I am not happy with the doctor but more unhappy with the way the hospital chose to staff an appropriate number of doctors- how is ONE sufficient?? Isn't northside known for its amazing birthing department? I am not impressed.

The system broke. They have got to balance patient care and customer service. The billing is set up so that every group that you see in the building is waiting around like a pack or sharks waiting to get what they can from you and no one can answers questions about billing or help you with issues. They just pass you around form department to another. If you go here keep good notes on who you talk to and what services are performed.
