My mother and I have been shopping at Marmi since I was about 12 or 13. We were used to going to the Lenox location and was sad to see to see they had closed. However, Candice Tate remembered us from the Lenox location and has been taking excellent care of us at the Alpharetta location! Worth the drive!

The rudest employees - so much so I called HQ to report it. It was a surreal experience. Only confirms why I shop online and with retailers who provide excellent customer service. First time shopping with this company and will not be back! Take your business to a company that values its customers and their experience.

This store has the rudest employees I have ever experienced in my life. The assistant manager was so rude to my 81 year old mother she seemed very irritated that my mom could not remember everything she said and was contradictory every time my mom used the word slender instead of slim. My mom bought two pair of shoes totaling $350. One of the pair had to be ordered and I was concerned they would not be returnable if they didn’t fit. Shirley assured me we had ten days to return merchandise. I then paid for $150 shawl. She said nothing about it not being returnable and simply out the receipt down in the bag. Three days later I decided the shawl was too long and tried to return it (today). I took my 56 lb very well behaved dog with me because the Avalon is a dog friendly mall. I always take him with me when I’m there and have never experienced any stores that don’t allow him. The sales ladies were in back for several minutes and when they came out front I was greeted with, “You need to get him out of here!” I said I thought the mall was dog friendly and she said he’s too big to be in here and it’s our discretion. I offered to leave my credit card in the counter and wait outside. Then she proceeded to tell me she couldn’t return my shawl anyway because it is an accessory. I told her that was not explained to me and that I asked about returns and was told I had ten days. She then pulled the receipt out and showed me the very faded half missing stamp on my receipt saying final sale. She again told me she wouldn’t service me until I went outside so I left the bag on the counter and went yo wait out front. She had me wait 10 minutes outside in the chilly air while the two of them helped two other customers, one of whom came in after me. Then she brought my bag out and told me she couldn’t do anything for me and gave me the store managers card. I have tried calling her twice and left a message but no response yet! The shawl was bought three days ago and has not been taken out of the original packaging. When I told the sales person today that the assistant manager was rude to my mother she told me, “then you shouldn’t shop with her!” Seriously?!?! I asked for her name and she wouldn’t give it to me. Can’t wait to hear from the manager. Do you think I will get anywhere with this? ?

The shoes are fine but one of the workers there with the yellow sweater had the rudest customer service.I was there with my mom helping her try to find shoes for her birthday. And the girl with this mustard yellow sweater I didn't get her name. I would ask her a question and she would straight up ignore me and stare right into my eyes. She was most likely too lazy to go in the back and get different shoe sizes for customers…..but that’s literally your job. So we left and gave our business elsewhere. As long as she’s working there I wouldn’t go back in.

The worst shoe shopping experience. The shoes are fine but the staff is so rude. I was there with my mom helping her try to find shoes for her birthday. And the lady with this mustard yellow sweater I didn't get her name. I would ask her a question and she would straight up ignore me and stare right into my eyes. So we left because I don't want to buy from a company that has workers with that kind of attitude.

Trying on shoes to fit a wide foot with one bunion. After a few I found one that looked nice. The Asst Manager came out with a couple of sizes, but offered the "left" shoe to try...my right foot has the bunion... I asked for the right and he said it may be tight, but it seemed good. When purchasing he quickly stamped my receipt and folded immediately. After wearing the shoes at home, the right foot was uncomfortable and cut into my right foot.. I opened the receipt to find he stamped it with Final Sale, No Exceptions. He may have known this would happen.... Bottom line, before ringing up, Final Sale items are always stipulated by the Sales person before ringing. Won't shop there again. Nordstrom is best.

Each time I shop at Avalon Marmi, I have the best service from Debbie McGinnis! I can always count on Debbie to guide me and help me find comfortable shoes for my narrow feet. I have also noticed many other customers asking for Debbie when shopping at Avalon Marmi. Debbie, thank you for your kindness and quality customer service!!!

Exceptional Customer Service from Shirley at Marmi Shoes in Avalon! You can tell the true nature of a business by how they handle a problem. Shirley did it with aplomb. I couldn't be happier with the creative solution she devised. Shirley truly listened to me, asked questions to clarify my situation, then, once she suggested a solution, asked if it would be satisfactory. She didn't assume it would be or force it upon me. I was really impressed and plan to visit Marmi Shoes at Avalon again - and of course, ask for Shirley. Thank you so much for making my day! I smiled all afternoon and shared my happiness with all who would listen.

I've been a 3 decades long customer of Marmi, first STL where headquartered, and then Atlanta once they opened ATL years ago. Debbie M at Avalon is fantastic to work with, knows which shoes will fit well and be comfortable too. Great place for either everyday, work, or special occasion shoes. All the staff have great taste in matching up something for a special outfit, occasion, or trip too. I wear a narrow, however this is the place for many hard to fit sizes - whether wide, narrow, size 10+, or small sizes when somebody needs an adult shoe in a small size, rather than being stuck with children's shoe sizes/style selections.
