Walked inside the store for guitar parts and was received with the best welcome any guitar player could have, which was listening DIO's 'Rainbow in the Dark' coming out of the speakers !

Ever since Ken Stanton was acquired by Private Equity-owned Music & Arts, customer service has plummeted. I recently needed to change my billing information as I got a new debit card. However, if you need to make a change to your billing information associated with lessons or music rentals, it cannot be done online, only over the phone. When you call, expect at least a 30-minute wait for "customer service". I finally called the store, and they were able to correct my billing information for lessons but not the rental. Then I had to spend another 30 minutes trying to get the instrument rental billing fixed. I finally just paid off the instrument balance so I wouldn't have to deal with them again. Finally, the way lessons are handled is a complete scam. Prior to the acquisition, if you needed to cancel a lesson in advance, you were not charged. Now you are charged regardless of when you cancel. You can "make up" the lessons, but this is nearly impossible during the summer when multiple weeks of lessons are being missed. The teacher doesn't have the flexibility to do that many make-ups. In short, it is a total scam. We will be looking for a new lesson location.

I just took in my Charvel guitar that had a Floyd rose bridge and Jacob. The guitar tech was very knowledgeable on changing the strings in training guitar. And I’m also an amputee that was treated with kindness and respect. I will be going back to the store for my next adventure. Thank you Ken Stanton.

We went today to buy my 8 year old son his first guitar and Jacob S. was so helpful and walked us through everything. He helped him get set up for everything he needs to start lessons. He took his time and didn’t rush us. The store was clean and neat. We’d been to another store previously and it took 30 minutes to get any help just for them to give us not so great advice. Glad we found this store!!

UPDATE: Evidence suggests Ken Stanton's management is trying to expose my identity. Google keeps taking down my review there (probably at management's demand), but Yelp won't take this down and management is mad. So, when I last posted a review on this dangerous business, a male employee dressed in sexually explicit ways had followed me around the store terrifying me for over 30 minutes. The business manager of the store posted a response to my review, asking me to call them. It turns out that the staff want my name and contact information in order just to investigate the predator they hired. Mind you, ANYONE can go by the store and see Buffalo Bill dressed in sexually explicit ways. I know this because I sent a friend to casually stroll through the store and check. The predator is STILL there, STILL dressing in wildly inappropriate ways. The predator didn't so much as say hello to or approach my male friend (gee, I wonder why), but my friend saw him once again make a beeline for a woman who entered after my friend. So, why exactly would Ken Stanton's management need me to give identifying information in order to go and LOOK with their own eyes at how the predator they hired is OPENLY menacing women while dressed in fetish wear? Could it be that they plan to give this man my information and put me in harm's way as punishment for exposing them on social media? AVOID, AVOID, AVOID this place.

My brother plays trombone in school marching band and it broke over time. So I brought him here to repair the trombone, rented one and got some accessories that requires from school. Anyway one little page clip we bought was wrong we went back here bought new one and keeps forgetting to return the unused clip.Today I finally spare some time to return the part but they refused to refund me because it was out of the return date. I asked nicely if there’s anything I can do maybe store credit because it’s going to be a waste anyway if I bring back home again. They still refused and suggested me to donate it to the school??I must say I’m very disappointed because I’m a regular customer that spent like $500+ here already and u cannot even store credit me like $14 bucks. I feel like the least you can do is give out the store credit if you smart enough so maybe you can keep this customer. So eventually I just left the piece to them and left. Probably won’t come back no more

I have invested over 5 hours trying to return a rental. They good not find on their system. Sent me on a goose chase calling one number after another. Finally when nothing was resolved, manager did a ton of research to find it. I decided not buy it out and came to store just now to return it and once again they can't find it in their system. I guess its on the customer to keep on the information. Now we are starting all over again. Perhaps I will just keep they instrument as they don't seem to know/prove I have it!
