This place is awesome!! Staff is very friendly, professional and attentive. Atmosphere was welcoming prices and service are good and fair. Will definitely come and refer every one and anyone I know.

Horrible service and they lied about the price to do my daughter’s hair just to get a new customer to come into their empty salon. When I called I was informed that a wash & set was $55 because my daughter has natural hair. The price seemed fair so I drove 35-40 mins to the salon and upon arriving I was now told that the price was $65. I had no problem with that but when I asked what the additional $10 was for the owner replied in a nasty tone “to comb out your daughter’s hair. I then asked if that was the final price, the owner then replied that “she couldn’t tell me if that was the final price”. Huh??? So you think I’m going to sit in a salon and just watch you keep increasing my bill for everything that is done to my daughter’s hair?? Nope!! She was not only rude, but so disrespectful. I left that salon and googled a similar Dominican salon named Amelia & Iris about 15 mins away and was not only pleased with the service, but the pricing and overall professionalism of the owner and staff was very exceptional. Buyer Beware!!! They are not honest and the owner is rude!!!

This salon has a special place in my heart. The owner has such a pure heart and all the ladies are so nice. You will walk out with healthy silky, strong hair. Ask for Nancy she is a wonderful woman and stylist.

Let me explain something to you..I come from a family of cosmetologists. I’ve been coming to Sandra since high school when I need a blowout that’s gonna LAST. Nothing is touching a good Dominican blowout, but it takes true skill and time. Yes you gotta sit under that dryer with the rollers for a HOT minute, yes there’s gonna be a lot of heat on the hair, yes it’s gonna take a few hours depending on your hair length. But I have never had any damage in over a decade of coming here and the blowout will last me 6+ weeks if I maintain it (sometimes longer). I wish I came more often, but I’m surrounded by people who do hair and myself. P.S. I live in Dallas now and fly back to GA to get my hair done at Juanita’s, Texturz, or my mama’s house. Love you ladies, keep it up!A few photos from over the years.

Juanita’s is by far the best Dominican Hair Salon. The ladies are welcoming, friendly, patient, informative, professional. They take pride in their work and go above and beyond to ensure you look and feel great. They provide several services and the shop is always so nice and clean. They thoroughly wash, massage your scalp, deep condition, clip your ends (if needed)and take great measures to protect your hair from heat damage. Sandra is my usual stylist but I’ve allowed all the ladies at some point to style my hair and I get the same shiny healthy beautiful results every time.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

It was my first visit to the Salon and definitely where I will continue to go. Starting with "La Parce" who gave me a warm welcome and took care of the washing of my hair by offering me the right products, Nancy "Dominicana" left me super HAPPY with the final result of my hair with a style that I didn't expect and that I will definitely repeat, in addition to being professional and humble at all times in his work. They made me feel like family.
It was my first visit to the Hall and definitely where I will continue to go. I came here 2 weeks ago for a blow out. This was my first time coming here and most definitely will be my last too. I have naturally curly hair and I'm always taking great care of my curls. I don't know what this stylist did but she completely FRIED MY ENDS. My curls are completely gone on certain areas of my hair. I'm assuming they didn't use heat protectant or they probably just used TOO MUCH heat on my hair, either way I'm in disbelief and completely devastated on how my natural hair turned out. This has never happened to my hair before. Needless to say, I will NEVER come back to this salon again.Service: Blowouts

They open at 9. Their sign says open, yet there is no one to be found. Several clients were waiting in their car outside. It is incredibly unprofessional for it to be 10am and still no one is there. Because they only accept walk-ins, I couldn't book an appointment ahead of time, so I wanted to show up early so my daughter could get in and get out. I had to call the other location in Norcross to inquire about when the Alpharetta location would open. The woman who I spoke to was very pleasant and she apologized on behalf of her late colleague(s), stating that they should arrive in 20 minutes. Its very sad that I had to fish around for answers to find out what was going on. Anyway, I didn't wait. Literally 5 min from Juanita's is Ileana's hair salon. I googled it and went straight there. They typically don't accept walk-ins, but they took my daughter in right away as a convenience to me. I'm glad I made the decision to take my business elsewhere.

My family and I have been coming to Juanitas for over 15 years. It has been the most consistent, economical salon in the Area. The stylist are not only licensed but they have SKILL HONEY. I have gotten blow outs, color, extensions, full head sew-ins and natural styles. Sandra has became apart of our family. We have celebrated big events and accomplishments starting at the shop, from homecoming and proms to weddings, long vacations and graduations.
