“Walmart’s Embrace of Caribbean Products: A Global Catering Shift
In recent times, Walmart’s retail landscape has begun to shift noticeably, particularly in its emphasis on Caribbean products. This strategic move not only caters to a broader demographic but also reflects a significant step towards global inclusivity.
The integration of Caribbean products into Walmart’s offerings is a testament to the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. Walking through the aisles, shoppers now encounter a vibrant array of goods that reflect the rich cultural tapestry of the Caribbean. From traditional spices and seasonings to popular snacks and beverages, Walmart’s shelves are now adorned with products that resonate with a broader audience.
For consumers of Caribbean descent, this development is more than just a convenience…it’s a validation of their cultural heritage. Finding familiar flavors and brands in mainstream supermarkets like Walmart fosters a sense of belonging and recognition. It underscores the notion that diversity isn’t just acknowledged but celebrated.
Moreover, Walmart’s decision to stock Caribbean products aligns with broader consumer trends towards global cuisine and culinary exploration. The growing interest in international flavors and ingredients reflects a shift in preferences, with consumers eager to experience new tastes and expand their culinary horizons.
From a business perspective, this move by Walmart is shrewd. It recognizes the purchasing power and influence of Caribbean communities, both in the United States and globally. By catering to these demographics, Walmart not only boosts its sales potential but also solidifies its reputation as an inclusive retailer attuned to the needs of diverse populations.
However, while Walmart’s foray into Caribbean products is commendable, there’s room for improvement. Enhancing visibility and accessibility of these products, alongside cultural education initiatives, would further enrich the customer experience and deepen Walmart’s connection with the communities it serves.”
“Rewriting my review. The cucumber avocado sushi is delicious. We buy it often. We wish they would offer plain inari.
The produce was better before Amazon bought Whole Foods. Especially the Romaine lettuce. The cilantro has been bad quality too.
The bathrooms still need cleaning especially on busy days and peak times. I grew up in a time when restaurants even McDonald’s, grocery stores, and hospitals were immaculate. Business owners and managers took pride in providing a clean environment.”
“The Alpine bakery has the by far the Most Beautiful cookies pastry, pies and cakes your hearts and sweet tooth desires!! Quality desserts. They have a restaurant for I am sure compliments the quality in their menu as shown in their bakery . I cannot wait to go back!”

1805 Hembree Rd Ste F, Alpharetta“This was my first time, but definitely not my last time ordering from Happy African Tropical Foods. The vender mistakenly shipped out the incorrect size of palm oil. I was swiftly contacted and issued the correct size for free!! Both my parcels arrived on the same day, and was neatly packaged. —Georgette”

11105 State Bridge Rd Unit 150, Alpharetta“I am so happy I took a chance. I was looking for Nigerian cuisine closer to my house and I found Kovafood Tavern. I called and ordered they said my Efo Riro with fish. I was told it would be ready in about 30 minutes. That was awesome because I normally drive way out like 40-50 minutes one way and to find something closer I was excited. When I picked it up it wasn't ready but I was happy to wait. I got my food and when I tell you when I got home I looked at the Efo Riro and immediately knew I had found a gem. The food was so delicious I tasted all of the seasonings and it was not spicy. Honestly its better then the other place I USE to go too LOL. I will be eating here at least once a week for sure. I will try other items on the menu next time.”

4900 Atlanta Hwy, Alpharetta“I have been to many pharmacies but none can compare to the staff at this location. They are fast, compassionate, and professional.Jessica knows me by voice when I call her. She is always in a good mood and helpful. The two pharmacists are fantastic. They both give painless shots. They are always happy to explain information about prescriptions and over the counter meds.Dorothy is always friendly and fast to get people their prescriptions. The staff even applies discount cards that give better discounts than goodRX without asking. This is what real teamwork looks like. They are the silver lining to any illness myself or my family faces. I truly hope the management of this Publix understands the value of this team and appreciates them.”
“Another local Mexican grocery store which I bumped into when I was driving by in the neighborhood. What surprised me is there's a kitchen in there where you can buy the authentic street style tacos and they are cheap. Different types of meats are available but I like the one which are already marinaded. The vegetables aren't really fresh on the day I went buy but they're not bad but I bought is because I wanted to support them local business.Staff were friendly.Overall good experience.”

Also had a pickup at the Pharmacy and Andrew treated me well. He even reminded me to use my Kroger card.
This shopping day was an excellent experience.
Sincerely,
John”

5180 McGinnis Ferry Rd, Alpharetta“The Pharmacist there Jackie is the most dedicated, kindest, smartest pharmacist I have ever come across in my life. I am a physician and am always impressed by her knowledge of the medicines and her relentless dedication to her job. We travel extra 20 min to this Publix just so we can see Jackie. Seeing " aunty Jackie" is always the highlight of my daughters day when we go there.”

4305 State Bridge Rd, Alpharetta“After 3 days of my wife being in the hospital, I went to get all of her new medicines and some additional medical related items-like 15 in all. I was completely overwhelmed, obviously scared. The pharmacist took his time to explain everything to me & how it all worked. They were out of one item & he suggested I checked with CVS. I went to CVS and it couldn’t have been a worse experience. When I got home, I called the pharmacist back & he helped me find what we needed. Every time we use Publix pharmacy, they are helpful, kind, and professional. Shout out to y’all. And more importantly THANK YOU!”
“Amazing super market , which sells Indian vegetables, condiments and other cooking ingredients. The supermarket is spacious and clean. It has a rack dedicated to Indian chips. They also sell freshly made Indian food .”

3000 Old Alabama Rd, Alpharetta“I've been shopping at this store for several years. It's reliable and the employees are kind. Their vegetables sometimes do not last long so make sure you'll eat them in the next few days after purchase. Their bakery always provides cakes that do not disappoint! I downloaded the Publix app and use it to clip "digital" coupons and review the weekly ad. Great way to easily save a few dollars! Also, ask for paper bags when checking out- it's free and an easy way to reduce your plastic use!”
“I love my quick little chats with Murthy when I stop in for gas. He’s a great guy and always very friendly. I hope Kroger appreciates his hard work and dedication.”
“This is just a review for the wonderful staff in the electronics/media section.I had a terrible experience at another Target when the website said there was plenty of stock of a CD but the staff refused to check in the back for me because they keep everything in the back and not on the shelves. He had a terrible attitude. I came to this location after and the young woman staff asked me if I needed any help as soon as she spotted me. I asked for some help finding the CD and she immediately said she knew what I was asking for and would grab it from the back. I finally got my CD.I didn't get her name but thank you for the help and wonderful experience after I was so upset at another Target.”

12870 GA-9 N, Alpharetta“We have been coming to this Kroger for the past three years, and this location is one of our favorites! We use the drive up order and shop in store often and they always seem to have the things I need in stock, especially when other neighboring stores are often over shopped. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly, and one of the managers, Tony, is just the best. He is always looking for a way to make his customers happy and will always stop to have a conversation to just check in on his neighbors and give back to our community. The best Kroger in town!”
“So incredibly thankful for Liz and everyone at the bakery! I needed 24 cupcakes with pink frosting in less than 24 hours and after calling two other Publix's, Birmingham was my last hope. They were not only able to accommodate my last minute request but even offered extras (sparkles and shades of pink) and an earlier pick up time than I asked. 3pm order placed and picked up at 701am the next day!”
