This organization is top notch! I love their passion and love for animals. I met one of their members while out one evening, then attended an adoption event at their headquarters. After that I knew I had to be involved and have signed up for training!

Terrible place. We were turned away when trying to adopt because we didn't fill out applications prior to coming to the location. Asked to fill one out at site, but was turned away.

We adopted our girl 2 years ago , our hearts have been filled with so much joy, there is never a dull moment with her. Thank you for everything that FurKids does for these animals.

We just adopted Conan 20654 and he has been wonderful. We adopted a sweet boy and are very happy. Shelter staff were friendly, but it took several days before they responded to my application and it took a visiting foster mom of another dog I inquired about visiting my home to get an appointment for me to meet him. I feel really lucky to have adopted him and i appreciate the care he had. Thank you fur kids. It could be a little easier to make contact to get medical records, etc after adoption but I know it’s hard with just volunteers to get everyone trained and on the same page. so I do appreciate it and I hope it makes you all happy to know Conan (Cecil) is doing well and fitting in great in his new home. :)

If I could give this shelter a zero I would! You all need to be put out of business. The manager she walks around with a God complex when in reality she needs to go and heal, and the staff is beyond rude. The little girl in the front that looks like a little boy is unbelievably rude and has no business working with animals. I would never do business with this shelter. You will find yourself paying for medical expenses that could have been avoided, they neuter most of these animals too young, which is another reason for the aggressive behavior along with medical problems that you will incur down the line. You all need to be shut down for good!

The absolute BEST place to volunteer!! Everyone is so kind and helpful, and the sweet dogs make the whole experience so fulfilling! Volunteers have a lot of flexibility, and the shelter needs as many dog lovers to volunteer as possible. You can choose to walk the dogs, play with puppies, give baths, clean kennels, etc. The dogs are so adorable and loving, and taking them on walks truly brightens up their days. I can’t recommend this place enough—please consider volunteering or adopting from Furkids Alpharetta! ❤️❤️

We found our puppy at Furkids. We're so easy to work with and explained everything in detail. We met the foster parents there and they explained everything to us about the dog. Everything is well organized and clean. They have lots of different services there. They clearly are planning to expand and build something bigger and better. I highly recommend working with them

We drove up from Central Florida to adopt Dexter and the team at Fur Kids were wonderful. Alex was lovely and made the whole process so easy. We’re thankful to have found our new pup ?

The website for this place doesn't say anything about needing an appointment prior to stopping by. You also cannot fill out an application on site. For a place that is supposedly desperate to get their dogs adopted, their "by appointment only" policy inhibits dogs from being adopted sooner. Been here twice and the first time, the lady was absolutely rude and bitter. Not impressed.

We volunteer at Furkids and are so impressed with the organization! The care, love and intentionality that goes into every aspect of the work on behalf of the dogs is amazing.
