I have been coming to Free Spirit Salon for cuts and color for over five years. Everyone, from front desk reception to the stylists, are warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the services they offer! I always leave feeling thrilled with the results whether it’s a trim, a more dramatic cut, or a color treatment. I have recommended Free Spirit to so many friends and family members over the years, and they honestly never disappoint!
Stylist: Hayley Hegi is absolute gem! She took the time to talk with me in depth about the look I was hoping to achieve. Not only did she look at the inspiration photos I brought with me, but she also pulled photos of her past clients to give me further examples of possible placements of color. As someone who has a LOT of hair, I always worry about being a burden to my stylists, but Hayley was so gracious and patient throughout the entire appointment. As always, I am blown away with the results. Thank you Hayley for time, effort, and incredible talent that went into helping me feel so beautiful!

Robbie did a very good job, she was attentive to what I wanted, took a photo of the picture I brought and was very careful about how much length she took off. I felt like she paid attention to her work and didn’t get distracted which I really appreciated. My hair was a great length and she also took a little extra off at my request at the end. Would recommend this salon to others. The interior was clean and well maintained, and everyone on staff was helping each other out.

I went in desperate for a hair cut. I chose based on some reviews and having to randomly choose( new to the area)
The light wasn’t great in the salon. When I got home I could see that my layers were completely crooked. And so was the back.
I ended up finding an amazing woman at great clips who straightened it all out including a big hole in the back ??♀️
She was super sweet and young but definitely needs more training.
Requested style: Layered in front kept longer in back

I have been coming here since late last year and have always had such a wonderful experience. Petri does my hair each time and she is an amazing stylist. She listens to what I want but also kindly provides her expert advice to ensure that I get a cut that suits me best. I love how my hair turns out each time she cuts it! She is personal, but professional and knowledgeable. The interactions I have had with other staff have also been positive and their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place!!!

What an amazing experience I had this evening. As a male with long curly hair I am always apprehensive when getting it cut. Ms. Aubrey did and amazing job! She trimmed it just as I asked and went above and beyond between that and my beard and mustache trim. All the staff were so kind and polite. I was pleasantly surprised at the price, as I was expecting it to be more. I have found my new stylist and I will definitely be coming back.

Please do yourself a favor and make an appointment at Free Spirit - you won’t regret it! I just moved to the area and we all know finding a stylist is scary and a vulnerable place to be. I called Free Spirit after reading reviews and Shadi’s kindness and listening ear let me know right away this was going to be a great place. After listening to my needs she connected me with Jensen, an amazing, kind, highly talented stylist. It was a match made in heaven as she took my hair, worked her magic, and I left feeling gorgeous, with a healthy, beautiful style! I cannot recommend her enough! The salon itself is friendly, clean, and gorgeous! Everyone made me feel welcome and valued! Again, you will not regret making an appointment and I hope you come away feeling as amazing as I did! Can’t wait to see my stylist again soon!

I have been coming to Free Spirit for quite some time. Although everyone in the salon is pretty talented, Petri is AWESOME! She’s sweet and personable. I explained to her my vision 6 months ago on my first visit with her and she had delivered. The entire staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome!

I cannot say enough good things about Free Spirit. Every single staff member is welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. I have been seeing Kelly for years for my hair and she is amazing at what she does. Over the past year started adding aesthetic services as well. Margaret has extensive experience and takes amazing care of her clients. Katie saved my skin and always follows up on progress and next steps. Yes they are a business but they truly care about their clients health & wellness for body, skin and hair. They are honest about outcomes and what will and won’t work for their clients. They have really helped me to feel more confident and bring out the best me. I can’t imagine another salon or aesthetic studio takes as good of care of their clients.

UPDATE: I’ve now had many haircuts with Elena and she continues to be truly remarkable - listens carefully, cuts with great skill, and is always friendly and genuinely interested in delivering great service.
Elena is truly amazing! She truly listens to what you need and then perfectly delivers exactly what you ask for. She has an incredible skill and expertise developed through training and experience, but more than that, she genuinely cares about her customers. It’s such a pleasure to experience a person who truly loves what they do and who works hard to deliver quality and excellence with every cut. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

Jensen was amazing and super sweet! I’ve been looking for a dedicated stylist and I can confidently say that I will be back to see her from now on. If you’re looking for someone creative to have fun with your hair then she’s your girl!
