From the moment I entered, I was warmly greeted from the staff. My friend and I immediately gravitated toward the tasting room and got a couple flights, which were absolutely amazing! Allison was quick to help us out and explain the different flights, she knew exactly what we wanted and did not disappoint!Highly recommend for folks who want to try fun and interesting wines, especially the orange wine.

On a lazy sunny Tuesday afternoon, it was a a great find to walk into Fermented! This is a very cool spot to relax and explore new wines. The staff is great and very accommodating. Located in the heart of Alpharetta, it is the perfect place to include in your visit.

Love, love, love this place!!! I go in and I'm always immediately helped by someone! No preservatives in their wine so no headaches! I've also been to the wine tastings, and they are very informative & so much fun! Charcuterie board is delicious too.

Fermented is a wonderful , unique experience! Providing tastings that take you on a journey to discover wines from less familiar regions. Enjoy a tasting and be introduced to amazing wines you could not experience elsewhere. Talk the staff and they will give you an insightful awareness on the different varietals of wine.

The staff is hugely helpful, friendly, and attentive. Great wine tasting and nice overall experience. great bottle prices as well. They offer meat and cheese boards from the spot around the corner as well, so if you're hungry, give it a shot. $25 for a wine tasting was a sold offer IMO.

We stumbled upon Fermented (Canton location) and it was the highlight of our Saturday. It is located inside the Mill at Etowah, where there are multiple shops and restaurants. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I shared a flight (the hayride reds) and a glass while we jammed to some Taylor swift (wine + taytay = best combo!)We will definitely be checking out the Alpharetta location and return to this one!

We went for the Orange wine tasting - it's not what you think! Mckenzie (spelling?) was super knowledgeable and an awesome host. I was skeptical at first about what orange wine even is. Fun fact, it is not wine made from oranges. It is also not wine infused with oranges. I'll let you Google what it actually is! There were 5 wines that we tasted, each very different and tasty. It was an awesome experience! I will definitely be back again.

A must try when in Alpharetta. We come here for the tastings. We try and find new tastes and take a few bottles home. The knowledge of the staff is over the top. The owner Adam is always searching for the winery that brings the best flavors. Just a great place to hang out with one or a large group!

Spent a great evening at a cheese pairing event. Great staff, great guest "speaker", and as always the selection of wines both during and after the event is wide-ranging and spectacular. This is a must "check-out" wine store and more.

I learned about Fermented through an event last year and was super pumped to stop in to actually check the place out. Located in downtown Alpharetta, Fermented is a small specialty wine shop that focuses on locally sourced wines of all varieties and price points. To help you with making the best selection they have the selections grouped by the occasion you need it for from Date Night to Special Occasion to the Party wall, which features the cheapest bottles that will still supply you with the fun, but won't break the bank. However, if you are looking for a super fancy bottle, they have the Collectors nook in the back that feature bottles well above the $100 price point. Service was phenomenal as well. I was greeted immediately when I entered and as we chatted, she was patient and very helpful, especially since if it doesn't come from the bottom shelf at Kroger or features a twist top...I don't know about it! She took time to educate me, walk me around to show me what wines fall in what categories and to tell me about the offerings of classes and tastings that they have on site! If you decided to pop your bottle while there, they do offer that and then you can step right outside to enjoy at one of the tables lining the walkway. Overall, Fermented is a cool shop that I will certainly visit again!
