Me and my daughter walked into this store on Tuesday 10/17/23 after 6p.m. it was EMPTY, staff (cashier one person female black hair to the shoulder) made direct eye contact with me and my daughter didn't say Hi, welcome in, need help finding something, NOTHING within 10 seconds me and my daughter WALKED OUT right out! Yep you guessed it the cashier didn't say bye. The CUSTOMER SERVICE at this store is horrible!

For me, Dokimeki is THE reason to come to the Northpoint Mall. It has become my go-to spot for gifts and for things to make my bed a little more cute. When you walk in, the first thing you'll notice are all of the stuffed animals stacked on top of each other. When it comes to stuffed animals, there is so much variety. There are large ones, small ones, fluffy ones, less fuzzy ones, pigs, breads, Pusheens, you name it! I've been coming to Dokimeki to get my girlfriend gifts, and she loves everything. I bought her a stuffed animal panda, and a bee and they have been an absolute hit with her. Sometimes, I just want to steal them for myself! The rest of the store is very Asian themed, with Japanese anime merchandise, kpop gear and even some Chinese trinkets. There really will be something for everyone. The vibe of the store is always lively, with Japanese music typically playing in the background and friendly employees. As long as Dokimeki exists, I'll always have a reason to visit Northpoint Mall. Just be careful when you visit, it's extremely tough to leave empty handed!

We stop by once or twice a month to browse various goods. The staff are super nice and the store is pretty easy to move around.

We walk into the store without realizing they were about to close, and for that we were asked out in a very rude manner by the manager or owner, whoever that person was. I understand if they were in a rush to close, we would just left, but nothing justifies that kind of treatment to anybody. 0 stars of possible.

Unfriendly and rude staff, an old oriental guy was shockingly awful to ask us to leave the store!. He raised his hands and waived his hands showing us the door because they were about to close. I would never bring my business to this store. And the girl with piercing and dyed hair pretty much took things out of our hands as well, Awful!!!

Discovered this surprise while browsing Northpoint Mall. All sorts of gifts and pop culture collectibles from Japan. Anime stuff, many current Funko Pops specializing in animation. Not cheap but priced according to current value.
