If I could give 0 stars I would. They owe us $3000 since June 2023 and keep giving reasons why they deny our claim but they have ALL of the info that they request. Twice we have been told that the issue would be escalated and someone would call in 24-48 hrs and guess what, no calls. 8 calls to their customer service and they are always apologetic and assured use everything is good but still no payment. If you have the opportunity run, don't walk to ANYONE else for your dental coverage.

I have been trying to get a claim started with this company for 5 months now. Sent my clain through the mail twice which is the only way to do it and was told they never received it. I've been transferred, hung up on, told different stories and they still haven't resolved the issue.... customer service is horrible and their policies make it impossible to file anything with them. Please...... please if you have the option do not go with this company.

I prayed and asked for guidance to wherever I am supposed to be in that moment of time, & I flew and sailed rite over to Delta Dental Insurance as one of there remote Customer Advocate/Level II. I am beyond overjoyed and counting my blessings daily. This company allows you to be off on your birthday with pay, ALL federal holidays, you earn bonuses and they are paid by the dept you work in & Me and my partner were hired rite on as full-time with PTO, full dental, vision & medical coverage.

If I can give 0 stars, I would. Our experience since switching over to this insurance has been horrible. From provider search, to provider availability, to claim processing, it's been the worst I've ever seen.

I sent a claim to the address I was instructed by an agent near the close of the Pandemic as required, but never received a response. After following up several times by phone, I was told the claim was never received. The filing window expired..

Worst insurance provider ever. Intentionally mires their patients in endless grievance and appeal processes, fails to process their own forms correctly, does everything in their power not to pay out a claim that they should have covered. Employers, this is not the benefits provider you want to inflict upon your organization.

I went in with a toothache. They took x-rays, measured my gums in world record time, diagnosed all the work I needed done, and gave me an exorbitant price to have it all done. But wouldn't talk about fixing the problem I actually went in for! I heard all the hype, saw all the commercials and left very dissatisfied. And now I am bombarded with daily emails. I will NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone!

My company just switched to Delta dental. This is the worst insurance by far. It’s like not having insurance. If you have a choice don’t choose this company.

Horrible, absolutely horrible! I'm a Delta Airlines employee and I am embarrassed to say that Delta Air Lines chose Delta Dental (no relation) to be our provider. All these 1 star rating are 1 star too much. Dental Dental employees are incompetent, at best. They use a call center for all customer service issues. You can't get a hold of any supervisor or anyone after you've talked with 5 different reps (5 separate calls) and either have them disconnect you, tell you that they emailed the documents that you need and they never do You never get the same answer to the same question from different employees. It's like dealing with a bunch of lying 5th graders. If you have a choice of Dental plans, stay far, far away from these clowns.

I help others verify their plans with you guys and this is one of the most unprofessional lazy insurance reps I’ve ever spoken with. Please hire people who will actually do their job not keep transferring the lines while milking the clock and the staff that are willing to learn please provide better use of training for them please cause I understand their trying but they don’t even know what they’re saying to me haha. This is ridiculous

Like most insurance companies, it takes them forever to process your claim but boy when it comes to billing you for anything, it's seamless and quick. Delta Dental is no exception, probably one of the worst. Also there's the awful customer service and I wouldn't recommend this insurance company to anyone...they just want your money period.
