My wife and I relocated to Georgia after her company transferred her position from Southern California. To be honest, we didn't think we could buy a house yet as I was looking for a new job, we didn't know the area at all, and as first-time buyers we were definitely more than a little intimidated by the entire process. We had met with a few different realtors before we met Patrick Casey, some of them only reinforced the idea that we weren't ready to buy (i.e. told us to come back when we had a bigger budget) and the rest did not listen to what we wanted (we wanted a fixer so we could make it our own and build some equity but everything they showed us was turnkey and way above our budget which just made us feel defeated before we even started). By the time we met Patrick we were just trying to get an idea of what the market was like so that we could start planning to buy in the future. He never made us feel pressured and he took the time to explain local markets to us and why a particular property or area may not be a good fit for us given our goals. He was clear from the beginning that he was there to help us and that he was in it for as long as it takes for us to be ready and to find the house that was right for us. He listened to us, took the time to really understand what was important to us, and made us feel very empowered in the process. I know that he has plenty of other clients, but we always felt like we had his full attention, and he was always available to answer questions. When we found the perfect house for our needs, he made sure that we got the best possible deal and to be honest, we walked away feeling great about what he was able to negotiate for us. Again, we were not buying an expensive house, our budget was modest, and we were buying a starter house that was a fixer upper. I am sure we are among his more "low budget" clients, but he made sure to make the process feel special and he was right by our side through it all. He calmed us down when things got stressful (we had to close in 3 weeks as we were losing our temporary housing, so things definitely got stressful through the underwriting process and when we had some snags on the financing side he was on the phone talking me down from full blown panic at 10:00pm) he advocated for us when needed, and he made us feel like we had someone looking out for us through it all. Honestly, we can't thank Patrick enough, he changed our lives in ways that I don't think he even realizes, and gave us the encouragement, support, and local knowledge to reach our lifelong goal of owning our own home. We love our new home, and we love owning our own land. Once we have renovated this house and are ready to find our forever home, we will absolutely have Patrick as our agent. I cannot recommend him highly enough, I would send my mother or my daughter to him with full confidence that he would give them the attention, care, and patience that he gave us. If you are looking for ad agent, call Patrick!

My fiancé and I were first time home owners and unfortunately did not have a great experience. At the beginning, our agent seemed promising and very friendly. We felt like we were in great hands. When our offer was accepted but inspection failed due to mold and foundation issues, we wanted to back out of our offer. It was at this point that our agent turned into a sales guy instead of a friend. He tried to tell us it wasn't a big deal. Fortunately we stuck to our guns and backed out. We later found out the damages were so bad the house could not be sold until nearly 40k dollars of work was completed to fix the issues. The seller ended up reaching back out to us, and ultimately we went back in with another offer and got out house. After closing, there was still a month before we got our keys. Our agent completely disappeared and we could not reach him by email, phone, or text. We had several promised actionable items our agent promised he would deliver and he was no where to be found.Eventually we found out from the seller himself that he was moving out 2 weeks early. Our agent had no idea and told us we were on our own to get the keys. When we went to the house, half of the appliances were gone. Appliances that we had specifically told our agent we wanted. When we finally did get a hold of our agent, he responded with telling us it was no big deal and "a quick trip to Home Depot". We ended up spending over $3,000 for trusting our agent when he told us all the appliances would be included with the house. We understand that at the end of the day we are the ones who signed the contract. But real estate agents are supposed to guide their clients - especially first time home buyers. That was not the case for us. Multiple occasions we were told we asked too many questions and needed to relax and trust him. Seeing how it played out for us, we wish we would have chose another real estate company. When I tried to reach out to the brokerage, I got no response from many higher up employees and VP's. When I finally got a response, the answer was a short, one sentenced email asking "what do you want me to do?".Overall, these are just a few of the issues we ran into. We won't be recommending this company and I hope that no one else has to go through what my fiancé and I had to endure.
