I am a traumatic brain injury patient so I take a variety of medications. To further complicate matters, being on the GA/FL line, there are literally zero doctors in my area that can/will treat me. That stated, all my doctors are in Jacksonville. Needless to say, the pharmacies here are not all too accommodating, some even talking down to me because of my medications and condition. That is, until my doctor suggested Lamar's. Stating they are very much by the book, she added that they were a great pharmacy. And she was right. They not only filled my prescription, but treated me like a person. Once they verify your information, they care enough to work with you and understand state pharmacy policy very well. They protect their business by telling you what they need in order to process your prescription and they listen. I cannot express enough gratitude for them listening to my doctor and understanding my dilemma, consequently filling my prescription, saving me hundreds of dollars by my not having to use the overly expensive pharmacy I previously thought I had no choice in using. This is a complete opposite of the treatment I endure in the town in which i live, where pharmacists think you deserve negative treatment because of your condition or medication. Additionally, every dollar counts these days. And when you have a brain injury like I do, and worry about your meds every month, pharmacies like Lamar's don't even realize it, but they make every difference in the world to someone like me. Lastly, I'd like to add that they have the coolest "5 & dime" store I've seen in over 30 years. So in addition to happily purchasing my medication, I was able to grab some nostalgic toys while I was there. Thank you, Lamar's, for caring for customers and treating us with dignity and respect.

A pharmacy and store like this in Alma is a rare gem! I can always be assured of excellent service, friendly help and a cheerful attitude, no matter when or why I am there. Thank you James and staff for always being there for my family over the years!

I drive out of town just to go to Lamar's Pharmacy because they never run out of medicine, they have discount prices, but best of all the staff are so sweet and caring.

James, one of the pharmacist, always kind & considerate. When u enter the store there is large display of "stuff". I usually use the drive-thrru, however yesterday I went inside & came out with app. $60.00 worth of "stuff!
