Visiting Albany, GA for my brother’s graduation, I stopped by The Talbots on Dawson Road to purchase a gift card for mother for Mother’s Day. Even though it was closing at 6 pm, I arrived at 5:53. The doors were locked and the lady was vacuuming. I tried to call to ask if they would just let me purchase the gift card, but no one answered. I am very disappointed with this service. I totally understand wanting to finish my shift and go home. Being in the customer service business for over 25 years can be tough but can also be rewarding when we go the extra mile. But to still have time to complete a quick transaction and be denied...especially on Mother’s Day weekend is unacceptable.
