Busy country diner with lots of dine-in and drive-thru customers. There is a reason: THE FOOD IS GREAT! I had perfect grits, tasty smoked sausage, scrambled eggs, and tater tots. Cousins had chicken tenders and French toast sticks, veggie omelet, pancakes, bacon and more grits. Y'all!!! Please support Pearly's if you are passing thru Albany, GA. You will not be disappointed. I'm trying to figure out how to eat here the next 2 mornings while still in town. ?

We arrived for our first time in Albany ga and went here based on recommendations. I had hoped they would have lunch available but they close on Saturdays at noon and only had breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. Food was good but nothing amazing. Thought it was a bit over hyped based on what we heard from people at the airport who live here. I had the chicken biscuit and side of hash brown casserole

These were my words 4 years ago: 5-star business. Breakfast biscuit with sausage and egg was tasty. It was not oily, and the egg was fluffy. 1/20/24, I'm wondering if the some of the cooks left when the business changed owners. The last two times I've gotten my sausage egg biscuit, the egg has been flat. Today, the biscuit fell apart when I separated the top half from the bottom. I'll probably give them another try, because they had been very consistent with the quality of their food prior to the sale of the business.

The food was hot and fresh. Service was slow. Staff finally brought order to car since inside was moving slow.

Breakfast early Friday morning. Ordered steak biscuit and cheese grits. Excellent service. Brought food to my table. Asked for mustard. She brought that too. Great crowd of hard working people. Bill was $8.

I talked to a local at my hotel who said this place is a good place to try because I was looking for local restaurants. I ordered a biscuits and gravy and egg, grits, and bacon bowl. I’m on the hunt for the best biscuits and gravy. I’m really impressed with these biscuits and gravy. Chucks of sausage, gravy season, does a a bit of floury taste, very subtle which is really good because it’s hard. The price was great for them. I have no complaints. So far, ranking high for me. The bowl is what you can make at home. Nothing special. I would come back. Not truck friendly. If you came early morning and grabbed it and went, you could, but that’s it. No parking for semi tractors. I had a rental, so I went. Uber eats or take a Lyft would be great.Vegetarian options: They do offer a veggie plate. It shows it on the menu.Parking: Parking lot is average size. When busy, parking will be hard to get a spot I bet. They do offer a drive thru.

I was really impressed with how good everything was and you could tell food would be good because this place was packed from the drive-thru and in the store. Service is very good there, too, and they actually helped me out with a difficult order, so nothing but respect
