I would recommend shopping in the store...but not get anything to be picked up on there website. I live in Washington State and my mom lives in Albany Georgia. I ordered a sweater for her for Christmas. I called to verify that it had arrived a day later than I was told. It was Christmas Eve. My niece went to pick it up for me. They told her it showed being there in the system but they could not find the item. I got a text from my sister around 5:15pm. I called the store and

Me and my sister came here for a hair cut and the white woman cut less than an inch of my sisters hair and it's uneven. Then I asked her to frame around my face and she completely butchered it. Tell me why a Trim was $44.00 and we stood there 10-15 minutes waiting to get our change.

Terrible customer service! Refused to exchange a damaged item. I will never shop at this store again. I will go to Dillard’s and Belks from now on.

I have natural hair. The stylist was rough and heavy handed. I asked for a silk out and trim. She half did my hair my ends were still horrible when I left. She used to much heat I went under the dryer then 2 blow dryers were she pulled my hair during the whole process. Then flat iron which she almost burned my eye. It was a horrible experience! I was told otp it was $55 she charged me 60 but said she gave me a $10 discount so I paid 50. For a service I didn't get the whole point was to get rid of my bad ends. She was concerned about the length my hair would be but I didn't care I wanted it trimmed! Don't go their if you're natural, honesty they suck!!

I was very hesitate to have my hair done at JCP SALON. I decided to give it a try anyway. I'm so glad I did. Jim was awesome! I have never been able to get anyone to do it like I wanted. Jim colored & cut it not letting me see it til the end! Finally Yes Jim I love it! I definitely recommend if u want color & style JIM is the answer!

JCPenney is a decent place to shop. They have good prices on most of their items along with steady discounts and coupon offers that the company promotes. I shop here primarily to purchase athletic apparel and housewares. I occasionally stop by the Sephora but I often find better selections and prices from Belk instead. Sometimes it takes a while to check out due to low staffing but I still find myself coming back from time to time.

Was it my imagination or is JCPenney still doing the ancient "sit down in the shoe dept. and wait until someone feels like bringing you shoes to try on" method of selling shoes? Oh, except for the athletic shoes. Those you can browse, try on and buy without having to wait for a drone to decide you're worthy of spending your money on mostly cheaply-constructed shoes. And the small section of shoes they've put on clearance because they haven't been able to unload them on any unsuspecting customers for full price. I have never liked that type of shoe store/dept.; not even when I was young and small enough to actually need help getting fitted for shoes. If a drone is having a bad day or decides he/she doesn't like your face/clothes/bag/shoes you're already wearing, you may never get to try on shoes. It's an outdated, archaic, unnecessary, unfriendly setup, IMO. FWIW, I went into that store today, looked to see if they even had the shoe I was interested in on display. Didn't see it, nobody asked me if they could help me. Guess what? I left, disgusted, and will NOT be back. I'd sooner pay Zappos outrageously inflated prices than deal with that store again.
