Can’t comment on actual physician services because I can’t even get an appointment scheduled. Called and left a message for new patient services several days ago, received a call back (days later) and got disconnected mid sentence. No one called me back. I called back and was placed on hold for 15 minutes before I got frustrated and hung up. Have heard great things about the physicians, but have no way of figuring out if they are true.

I am very satisfied with my medical treatment and my personal care at AIM. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, always interested in you and your needs and very caring. The whole Staff is great, everyone I have ever have come in contact with has had my best interest at heart. From my Dr., Dr Richards, her N.P. Ashley, and the Nurse Kelly! I always get a call back right away. The other staff are so sweet and kind, from the front office to the Lab and Radiology. I thank God for these people!

I have been using this office for almost 20 years. Doctor Frank Jones is my doctor. He works very fast in getting you in and out fast for your visits. He listens and works at the same time getting the job done. Hes been very understanding with my medical needs and understanding that my insurance doesn't cover everything. And trys to only give me what's covered if at all possible. The on call doctors are great also. 5/5 stars

Just a little rant here, I have called 3 different doctors where I am a patient. One called back and said they don’t do Covid, I have yet to hear anything from Albany Internal Medicine and One Source said I would have to come in to be evaluated, I can barely get out of bed much less drive and sit in a waiting room for who knows how long. The test was positive ( I can show them) and the way I feel leaves no doubt. What has happened to do no harm. How about doing something to help. All they want is for you to come in and line their greedy pockets. The medical and dental fields have gone the way of journalism, NO. INTEGRITY AND NO HUMANITY - It’s all about the money, They could care less about the “people” the are supposed to help and serve..

Albany Internal Medicine recommended the Covid Vaxx to pregnant patients… yet, it seems it was actually unsafe for them.

I don't know about the doctors but the FRONT DESK EXCELS IN THE ART OF RUDENESS. I was never called back to set an appointment and when I went there to inquire, customer service was poor, and I knew I was not welcome. If you are a minority, better steer away. On the same street at the "VERANDA", the front desk is courteous, very professional and you will be treated with respect.

Won't answer the phone. A recording plays for ten minutes, then hangs up. The patient portal offers no way to initiate a message. And no, I don't want to download another app.

As I sit here in the waiting room at Albany Internal Medicine I am realizing, as a registered nurse of 41 years, that we have reached a very sad day in modern American healthcare. I have accompanied my sister in-law and 90 year old mother in-law here to see her primary care provider to discuss potential hospice options her. My sister in law and I were both allowed into the waiting room, but only one of us was allowed to accompany her in to see the doctor. We are both triple CoVid 19 vaccinated and wearing mask. The conversations we are to have with the doctor today are tough and emotional for all of us. Sometimes the ears and input of more than one family member are needed to make these most important informed decisions. I am sure they will say the rationale for only allowing one family member is to help stop the spread of Covid. Again, we are triple vaxed and wearing mask. And I am allowed to wait in the waiting room. It is my personal opinion, having experienced this same issue before with my own mother and sister at another clinic in another state, that Covid is bring used as an excuse by healthcare providers to not to have conversations with multiple family members. More family members equal more questions and longer office visit times, and we all know time is money. Just my thoughts since I have plenty of time to record them while sitting here in the waiting room. My mother in-law has been a patient here for many years and has always received excellent care. As I stated earlier it is a sad day in the history of our healthcare system when family members cannot receive adequate counsel about serious matters under the guise of preventing the spread of Covid.

I went to check in at the front desk for a heart procedure and two of the women that work there were so rude. I've never been treated so rudely by office staff. Thank God I'm not a regular patient at this place. It don't cost anything to be nice!!!
