Awesome place that treats you like family! Not just your typical marina, they also rent boats, cabins, camping as well as a great Restaurant and casual deck.

Original post...The kids at the gas dock are lazy & rude. We got there to fill up & normally someone comes out to help. My husband went inside & everyone was asleep, except for the girl that took his cash. He went out to full it himself & she put him on wrong pump. He tossed pump behind him so he could use other then she accused him of throwing it at her. My husband is not violent. After he pumped gas, he was told to go in & apologize. He did only bc they harassed him. They wouldnt give us their names, so I called the marina office & we'll see what happens. I'd give this gas dock a big fat ZERO stars if I could. Hopefully, the office will look into their employees.

Love the restaurants. Marina definitely needs some upgrades. There are no fenders when pulling up with a boat to dock and eat. The dock edges have very jagged wood. Even with my boat fenders I don’t trust it when docking.

There is a gate but no camper parking to check in. The sites are not level. Some have “buddy” water. Some have the pedestal on the wrong side. The dump station is a muddy mess and VERY difficult to exit and leave the campground.
Our site had not been cleaned, there was trash left in the fire pit.

Worst ever they don’t care about people that book locate for a weekend and dogs that people that stay here for awhile dogs left alone in campers barking all night! Don’t camp here please ! Maybe dog control needs to come and check this out?

This is a great place. Huge, beautiful lake. Wife and I visited on our way to Jamestown Tennessee, one night. We like it so much that we stayed again on the way back, three nights. We would have stayed longer, but it was the Labor Day weekend, and no sites were available. Reservations are easy to make, and everyone was very helpful.Entrance to the park is secured via a magnetic gate card received upon check-in. The roads are narrow and mostly dirt and rocks, as are some if not most of the sites. There are no sewer connections, so be prepared for this. There is, however, a mobile sewer service offered twice a week. Their is a dump station near the entrance as well. We found it to be a bit difficult to manuver, and the pipe connection is smaller than what we are used to seeing. The views of the lake are spectacular. Most sites are wooded. Ducks roam the park, some with their chicks.Boating is a big part of this park. Lots of docking available, and of course, a boat ramp.Fifty and thirty amp sites, lake side or lake view.This is the perfect place for families with kids. Fishing, boating, and RVing, what else can you ask for.Make sure to visit the restaurants and shops in town. I highly recommend the 1885 Grill and Henry's Louisiana Grill.
