This old man is out of touch and unfortunately so is his shop. Had a crankshaft machined, has issues with machining and bearings matched up. Called him to discuss my issues and try to determine how to proceed. He then began calling me dumb and making claims that it shouldn't have been installed without being checked. The engine was still on the stand when the conversation happened. He then hung up on me and told me I'm crazy. I would avoid Goza by all means necessary. Zero quality control and even worse customer service.

I am absolutely thrilled to share my wonderful experience with GOZA Auto parts and machine shop! From the moment I stepped into their store, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly atmosphere. This level of customer service truly sets them apart from any other auto parts shop I have visited.
One aspect that particularly impressed me about GOZA Auto parts and machine shop is their exceptional commitment to quality control. It is evident that they prioritize delivering only the best products to their customers. They actually took the time to call me and ask me to come down and inspect the honed cylinders before they took it off the honing machine. Their attention to detail and strict quality standards truly gave me peace of mind, knowing that I was investing in reliable and durable machined parts.
Moreover, I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic their customer service is at GOZA Auto parts and machine shop. The staff members are incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to go above and beyond to assist me. Whether I needed help finding a specific part or had questions about installation, they were ready and able to provide answers and a detailed explanation of the answers.

This is the most KNOWLEGEABLE and EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL Machine Shop I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with. I was trying to restore a 350 GM engine from a 72 Chevy Truck I am restoring. Most of the Experienced (Retired Ol' Farts ... I'm a TEACHER) auto restoration and auto hobby and auto-engine technophiles (all over Georgia) know well and recommend the shop equipment Goza uses and has MASTERED with Maestro Artistry capabilities.
They have highly expensive and finely calibrated machine capabilities NO ONE ELSE IN GEORGIA and few in the South East-US even know exist!!! While working on my engine I was shown the "inner sanctum" of machine equipment and Professional training ... Training ... TRAINING required just calibrate and to use it as it was designed. (We're talking out of the country professional training -- like Highly specialized ... SPECIALIZED ... West German Machines).
They have a price list for all their work and you can take in minor jobs or fully disassembled engines to have specific machine work at upfront advertised prices. No secret fees and upgrades you don’t ask for, and the more you KNOW THE MORE YOU WILL APPRECIATE THEIR SKILLS and PROFESSIONALISM ... AND TOTAL EXPERIENCE in DOING JUST THAT !!!
Their work on my 350-GM engine, saved me THOUSANDS in … things I didn’t know Nor wouldn’t ever know without their HONEST AND KOWLEDGABLE MACHINE SHOP SKILLS AND EXPERTISE !!!
So much for the ignorant wheel-barrow mechanics walking into this shop with a chip on their shoulder and looking for Wally World gas caps.

Charged for service not discussed or approved. Went to this shop for a second opinion only be referral. Deceptive, defensive, scammer. Makes the same excuses over and over. Never calls you about your product. Will seek any and all legal and criminal proceedings against this business. Be advised. This is most definitely not an honest or professional establishment.

Tommy was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. He took my father and I on a tour of his shop. I brought him a head I needed decked and he got it back to me the next day. I am building another engine soon. Much better than any other shop I've used. Will use again!

I've used Goza Machine in the past and is usually the case, in frenzy to get the parts (signature series heads) repaired, I forgot the most basic of rules; post your experience here. As bad luck would have it, I now have additional machine requirements which Goza will be commissioned to perform. To my surprised, while visiting their website, I saw such poor rating's. I restore classic cars for fun, and I must say, the 1 & 1/2 stars I witnessed are not indicative of the service's I have received at Goza. The staff are friendly and their work very detailed and professional - so much so, I am about to pull the trigger on another set of special heads that have come into my possession for my 54 F100 project. Do yourself a favor, look beyond the review's when considering your next machining requirements, you'll be glad that you did in the long run. We all expect/demand quality in workmanship, but few are willing to pay for the service. My humble opinion. Goza is a small business, and yes, they may charge more, so if you want cheap, head to Walmart next time, or pay Amazon a pass through fee when you order the sub-quality Chinese knock-off parts. If you still demand quality, simply look past their politics and accept the fact that they too have an opinion as do you and I, what a wonderful country we live in.
