Dollar General needs to stop opening new stores and concentrate on the ones they already have. This one needs corporate help!! The employees are friendly, but the parking lot is absolutely disgusting (trash everywhere) and the store is dirty and disorganized. There's a "pothole" exiting the parking lot that could actually swallow your car; the street floods easily right there, so it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. If I were the restaurant next door, I'd be calling code enforcement on this nasty place. Such a shame since there's nowhere else close by to shop for necessities but tons of demand from lake/campground/park visitors and area residents.

I have been in many Dollar General stores and this one has got to be the nastiest one around . Also some of their staff are not nice, unkempt, and does not seem very interested in customer service you would think as much as they like to refer you to self checkout they would have time to clean,put up stock straighten their shelves and make the store a little more presentable. The management team should be ashamed of themselves.

This place used to be nicely stocked and pretty organized.. its not so much any more..I will change my review once they get their sh%# together and stock up the shelves and keep this place clean again. I miss how it once was...

New manager is very very rude, she left us waiting at check out for at least 10 minutes another employee came up said “she was walking up the manager” She walked up on her personal cell phone still talking on it “saying we have self check out I don’t know why they can’t use it” she never once got off her phone she talked the whole time she checked everyone out and it was a very personal call, talking about meeting up and getting together just very personal stuff also when I walked in the front of the store was completely unattended anyone could stole anything and walked right out, the new store manager has music so loud when you walk in you can barely think, I’ve lived here my whole life this is the worse I ever seen this dollar general, shelves are never stocked anymore I can’t never find anything, it’s nasty, two people have overdosed in the bathroom since the new manager started, there is boxes everywhere you can barely get down the aisles, the new store manager just has a very bad attitude and does not do her job, not to mention she was in front of the store with a group full of men who where her friends she said was “hanging out with her” she made a joke about it to me and told me they where all her friends, the guys where all the checkout counter I could barely get through. I haven’t been in this dollar general in over a month because of new management and I refuse to. Hopefully dollar general can fix this so I can shop back at our local dollar general, refuse to shop at a nasty store with a manger who is lazy and won’t do her job not to mention the dollar general is never opened on time anymore and they are closed 30mins early every night it’s been a month since I stopped going but from what I hear it hasn’t changed any .
