We moved from a local Montessori School and have seen a 100% positive turnaround going here!! Absolutely trust and love the teachers and Administration!!(My son cried when he couldn't attend school for 3 days, so that says enough)

I have been very impressed with the care that my son has received at this daycare. I only had him there for a few months before moving but I wish we could have stayed longer. The teachers, especially Ms. Florrie in the infant room, treated him like he was family. The administrator, Ms. Julie, was always happy to see us in the morning and was appropriately concerned with his food allergies and overall well being. We had our older daughter in another school, and my son was on the waiting list, but after a few months we were ready to keep my son at Decs and bring my daughter too! However, we ended up moving and the school is too far, but it has been a great few months and finding people to love your child when you are away is not easy! So thank you Decs, you will be missed!!!!!

They told me my daughter can not come back to Decs because she is sleepy when she arrives to school at 7am. Julia at the front desk has anger issues shacking, she was so mad bc I asked for money back due to her kicking a 3 year old out of school on Thursday morning. She told me she can not check my daughter to she if she has Covid bc she was sleepy.

The infant teachers are wonderful, they try the best that they can do to take care of your child. The director takes on way to many babies for these women to care for, which leads to your child not being properly cared for. In my opinion all the children are looked at as dollar signs to the owner. She has every excuse in the book if you come to her with a problem concerning your child. Management is a complete disappointment. I would not recommend this place to any parents looking for childcare. When myself and other parents are saying your child will be behind in developing. PLEASE BELIEVE it!! Cause it is true!! I’m sure all the teachers are not even certificed as daycare instructors. The director had her 16 year old daughter taking care of kids over the summer. The price is great but it’s not worth your child attending .

My son has been here since he was 4 months old. All the teachers are great and take great care of my son. They provide a daily report on how the day went. I have never had a problem with anyone there. Great daycare.

We have sent all four of our kiddos there, and we couldn't have made a better decision. We we're actually referred to the daycare from an assistant principal at Clark Creek. She explained to me that the most well rounded kids she saw in kindergarten came from DECS- no joke. I was very skeptical, but I respected what this professional told me and decided to give it a shot. They provide structure, have a huge shadded yard for the kids to play in- and the playground is hidden from the main busy road, and very low employee turnover. The breakfasts and lunches are healthy and fulfilling. The camp field trips are fun and always a learning experience- even our now middle schooler asks if he can go. The director, Ms. Julie, is like family. She loves each of her precious students as if they were her own. She is protective, concerned, an effective communicator, and clearly a dedicated educator. We have been to a lot of different daycares and this one surpasses the others we've been to like Goddard, Discovery, private church daycares, etc. I remember how skeptical I was, but I cannot forget what that vice principal told me and how true her words were. Best decision ever!

TRIGGER WARNING!!!DO NOT USE THIS CHILDCARE SCHOOL.There far too many children enrolled at this school- I'm sure well past what the government would allow based on the amount of supervision present. My nephew was neglected and starved while attending. The pediatrician put him on a regimented feeding program for weight gain because he was underweight. AND THEY STILL FAILED TO FEED HIM PROPERLY. The teachers are doing what they can but are overwhelmed and lack resources. My nephew is also developmentally behind, nearly a year old and still cannot crawl, being there 40+ hours per week I would have expected more "teaching". Money is prioritized over the well-being and development of growing children. Shame on the owner/director for having no regard for these growing humans.

Very disappointed with the school. Management doesn't listen to concerns that parents have. They always have some excuse to give. I would not recommend this place to anybody. They have a I DON'T CARE ATTITUDE.Extremely chaotic atmosphere and very rude management. They would leave kids unattended and if anything happens they blame it on you that your kid is not a good fit.

My daughter has been going there for about 6 months now. I absolutely love the school and her teachers. And a big bonus is Mrs. Julie the director...couldn't ask for a sweeter or more helpful person to run a school.

I have nothing but great things to say about Decs. Yes, it's an older building but it is very safe and the teachers are amazing. My daughter's teacher is wonderful as well. She is stern (but in a nice way) at times, yet loving at the same time. My little one loves going to school every day! The price is not too bad, either. I feel very confident sending her there every day. I also feel very welcome when I go to the school to visit or pick her up.EDIT - We are still using DECS but now mainly for their summer day camp and the after school program sporadically during the school year. We still love the staff and my daughter still loves going!!

They have been nothing but great to my son. He would have no problem telling me if he were to be mistreated. He loves it there. As far as high turn over rate, most day cares have that, its a hard job and parents can be awful.
