I’m having a issue out of Big Deal Pawn surprisingly. I relocated to a different state 600 miles away I’ve been gone 5 1/2 months. I’ve been doing business with them for 8 years never had any issues. But now all of a sudden I can’t get through after calling a dozen times the past 3 days. I need to get a log in code to pay via the app on a shoe pawn I have their. A pair of $525 designer blue/white Bally shoes that’s been with them for a while since I relocated. I just need someone to reach out to me that way I can make a payment & not lose my shoes. Thanks, Jarvis (I’m shocked this has never happen with them but I’m being told they just changed management and sum other stuff, etc)

Big Deal is the real deal. It doesn’t matter what level of service I need. A loan or just shopping for a deal. Brian and the rest of the Big Dealers have always provided level 10 service.

I really like this place so I'm giving a five star. But one thing does bother me. If you advertise a 6 o'clock closing time on your door and on the internet the actually close at six. NOT EARLIER!! I drove over an hour to come make a purchase and when I arrived at 5:30pm your store was closed. So not only was an hour of sitting in traffic to get there a complete waste of time but the gas used was also a waste and gas isn't cheap. Either advertise your correct closing time, or actually close at the time you do advertise. Or at least add to your store voice-mail that you've closed early. I love the store but the complete waste of time and gas I've had to deal with is really unacceptable. As it's really the only flaw I'm still giving five stars but I am really pissed that after rushing to get to the store before the stated closing time and using all my gas. I arrive to find the doors locked 30 minutes before the closing time. Please do something to remedy this issue as there are multiple things that could've been done to ensure situations like this don't happen to your customers. Like changing the closing time on Google. Or putting it in the voice-mail. Or changing the sign on the door.

I wanna write this while showing respect to what the shop once was.The shop was at once a great place where if you needed immediate cash, you could come up and get a very solid price. Also, people there used to be outrageously friendly and helpful.I can no longer say much of this.Tuesday I'd went to go and swap in a console, some jewelry, and some valuables. The total I was offered was the lowest it has ever been in the history of me going to this store.I don't know how they do console or jewelry management anymore, nor how they priced things.Though a flat rate of $200 for everything felt like a slap in the face. You can see stock openly sitting out, what's wanted and available. So something is blatantly wrong here. This is sad. The store has been suffering a while now and I think this'll likely continue, as the store is never near as busy as it used to be.Big Deal, I'll miss you, and I'll likely never return ever again, and it's unfortunate saying that. Was at once the best pawn shop in the Woodstock area, so may you forever rest in good memories.

If you want to them to call the cops on you after trying to get them to own up to replacing the stuff they damaged, lost, sold that you pawned then this is the place for you. Candido is the worst manager ever working there. His sidekick kaitlyn was nice until my son went to sell something and bc he was related to me they said for him to never come back. Are you f’ing serious. Lawsuit time. I have video evidence. And they stole my charger and was using it!!!

Kaitlyn is the best. They have great items for sale and they have layaway. They lend on just about anything

Took in Polk rti10s to sale. They pulled up covers for them on ebay and tried to base pricing for whole speakers off of that. I wasn't trying to get rich. Just cleaning up some storage space.

Purchased a firearm from them online and their shipment with pink packing peanuts clogged up every inch of it. Shipped well with no damage, just annoying.

Dude, I haven't been to very many pawn shops but when you talk about low ball, it doesn't get any lower. I won't waste my time coming back here, and made sure I told the "MOD" as much. I called ahead of time and asked if they bought Morgan and Peace silver dollars, which of course they do but asked ahead of time if they were just going to go off of silver spot value or actually do some research and see what that particular year and mint mark would sell for. Granted this would be a pawn so I was coming back for them anyway, but he said yeah they would depending on what type of coin it was. Straight lie. I got there and they offered me $15 on a 1878 8 tail feather Morgan silver dollar in ridiculously good shape and $45 for two MS70 2021 Morgan and peace silver dollars lol. Each one of those is worth over $200 a piece easy. Don't waste your time if you're looking to pawn or sell here. You could probably find some good deals on buying because they lowball the hell out of all the sellers. But "Big Deal" right? Lol

Came to this store and bought the gun. Background check took 10 minutes. Amazing. Store manager Candido Santiago is very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks. Great price.

Very nice people. However, just like other shops the concept of a pawnshop is to lure high risk or desperate people. You could bring in expensive never worn jewelry or other items worth hundreds or thousands, the people that run the shop will look to see the cheapest that item sold for on eBay (with no regards if that item was broken that sold on eBay lol) and try to offer you that price for it. And will offer a BS explanation on how that’s what most stores do when it comes to jewelry and other items when that’s not entirely true.

They scratched my 18k gold ring to "test" it. Not cool. It's stamped 18k and engraved- definitely legit, and I know I can sell it elsewhere. Very disappointed they'd scratch something that they don't own prior to making an offer. There are non scratch tests too, and it passed the magnetic test smh.

This place must have changed ownership or management. Everything is way overpriced and the customer service is oblivious. No knowledge of the merchandise and no interest in making a sale. Disappointing experience, I hope they get themselves together, a pawn shop is more than just taking advantage of desperate people, it's about good deals.
