Impact Karate is a hidden gem. The staff has great communication with the families, and children feel very welcomed here. I am impressed with the patience and respect that Sensei Ronnie, along with the other sensei(s) and senpai(s) provide more to the students than just martial arts training. The young students experience feelings of accomplishment, inclusion, pride, teamwork, and belonging.
Looking forward to seeing how things progress over the next several months!!!

We love it here!! Both my boys (7&9 when they started a year ago) have thoroughly enjoyed learning everything they have coming to the dojo twice a week. They look forward to the challenge and as parents we love the physical and mental challenges that all the sensei practices with the kids on a weekly basis. So grateful we found this program!

My 5 year old son has been attending Karate lessons at Impact since May of this year and we have no prior knowledge of anything related to the sport. With that being said, he LOVES this place. When he first started, I was unsure he would be able to sit still and have the focus required for Karate. By his 6th or 7th class I was pleasantly surprised by the discipline and difference in his behavior in class (and outside as well). Simple things like, walking to get water instead of running, yelling out the counts when doing warm ups, sitting attentively, which I was impressed coming from my energetic 5 year old boy.
Now its been about 3 months and he looks forward to Karate every week. Even asking to go on days he is not scheduled to attend. He has us all doing the warm up routine at home pretending to be the Sensei. The belt stripes and even stickers are a huge motivation for him during class (see picture, lol) and has his eyes focused on achieving the junior yellow belt. All in all to say, this is not the same 5 year old who started just 3 months ago. He LOVES Impact and I love the positive influence it has been for him.
Lastly, Sensei Ronnie has been great to work with as well. It was easy to register, automatic payments, and overall excellent communication (email, texting). I also really like the extra curricular activities they offer after class - like popsicles and water gun fights. I would def recommend!

My children have been students at Impact Karate for several years. I am impressed with the staff and curriculum. Both are stellar. It is a great place for children to develop self-respect, self-defense, confidence, social interaction, and keep physically active. The staff is approachable and shows true concern for kids and parents. It is a wonderful place to train in martial arts.

My son has been going here for two years now and we have had the best experience since the beginning. Sensei Ronnie is fantastic with the kids and is very devoted to the dojo and helping the kids learn. My son loves it here and is always looking forward to karate days ❤️

My son loves taking karate here!! He looks forward to classes and has learned a lot! He has gained confidence and strength through this program! They also have a homeschool class which has been amazing.

I can’t urge you enough to BEWARE! Absolutely money hungry! My children attended this dojo since they were 3 and 4 and still after 7 years this man only cares about $$$. We should have left a very long time ago with the many others that found a new dojo to attend. If you start here you will quickly look for a better spot I 1000% guarantee that! We attended zooms all through covid with no discount on the $200 a mth.. for zoom! I told myself we are supporting our dojo and a small business but for what.. so this man couldn’t care less about me and my family that have been absolutely devoted to this place. It’s my fault for not leaving when all of the parents are discussing how much better other dojos seem I blindly stayed in support. I wish I didn’t and I have to take the time to urge you not to make the same mistake as me and my family!!!!!!! Go elsewhere, there are so many nice dojos around.. please find a better one!
Nice response here for a show online… yet absolutely zero response to phone calls and txt messages!!! Disgusting behavior and everything I said is true. See for yourself! So many better dojos in the area… they are money hungry and do not care. Please don’t believe a post that was to benefit others reading and not the people with the actual issue. Steer clear or see for yourself and you will know what I’m saying is 100000% accurate! We spent hundreds of dollars trying to help keep the doors open through covid and what kind of respect do we get in return… after 6+ years you rather keep a mth we can’t use. It’s more than the $ it’s time to say what we hadn’t for years. My fault ? knew I should’ve switched a long time ago but didn’t out of convenience and now I hope no one else makes that mistake!

Sensei Ronnie and the whole crew are so awesome working with the kids. All are treated equal and are able to learn and advance at an individual pace. I love the fact that during the school year, promotions are also based on written reports from not just the kids parents/guardians, but also their teachers/schools. Would highly recommend Impact Karate.

Excellent dojo! We are so thankful to have found Impact Karate Center and Sensei Ronnie. After trying and not enjoying a few organized sports, our son finally found something he enjoys! As parents, we appreciate the discipline and focus on respect and commitment. He's determined to get his black belt and we're here for it!

We're very happy with IKC and Sensei Ronnie. He and his instructors are friendly, helpful, and great with kids. Sensei has a natural teaching ability.
