They sold my mothers storage unit and didn’t work with us the only thing we got back from the auction was my loved ones ashes Since baby stuff from his birth and ultrasounds and my baby pictures r gone and that’s all I wanted back do not go here if u value ur stuff

Worst experience ever. Rude staff (besides one female individual in the front) From day one the door was broken, I had no access to my storage unit for months. When they went in to fix the door months later, they broke about $2,000 worth of my belongings and would not rectify the situation…. The district manager admitted they were in the wrong for going into the unit without me present, but still would not try to meet in the middle, instead as soon as he knew they were wrong, he was non responsive … this is the second Google review I’ve done because they deleted the previous one. This company is crooked and knows it. There are plenty of storage units to choose from in this area, I highly recommend another company.

The best thing about Hideaway is the staff., very friendly and helpful. My only complaint about Hideaway is the multiple times my rent was increased. Overall quite satisfied with Hideaway.

Misleading! I ordered online when I arrived the promotion was to have 50% off and after also ordering for non climate control the manager who by the way is rude gave me a climate control and I also explained after just having a stoke I needed something that was outside he then said that was the last unit that size. After telling him this isn’t what I ordered he then gave me a bigger unit outside and said he would charge me the same as the one I had ordered to have. After loading everything, I went to the office to get a copy of the new contract mind you that I didn’t sign and agree to because it now had a different quote and telling him I didn’t need protection also he still kept it in there. I was leaving to another City and not able to get back over there I had a different price every month and still being charged protection. The manager then said he would send me an email for a paper to sign to take it off and I would be reimbursed which never received the email or the reimbursement. After many complaints to the call center the only answer I would get was we will forward this to the manager I said well that’s who I have the issue with. I said I need to talk to his manager. They refused to give me the information which would be the owners I end up calling another location and they was nice enough to give me the owners email after sending an email it was the wrong email and it wouldn’t go through so finally when I was able to get back over to Zephyrhills I then told him that I am leaving. I had to pay three weeks. They said they would prorate it and I need to pay it through the automated system I then explained that it’s not prorated it’s give me the full amount, so how is it gonna be a prorated and then they gave me the option the manager and the woman that sits next to him the other customer service representative. I don’t know who she is but they were just being really cocky and rude after explaining my situation and knowing that I was flying from domestic violence, and I just couldn’t get over there anytime or else I would’ve gotten my stuff out of that storage and went with somebody else so I was kind of in a desperate situation and they knew this well I paid the full months rent for the storage and still haven’t gotten reimbursed. They said there is no reimbursement because I didn’t call directly to the office well you never gave me that option. You said the person that was paying with the credit card needed to be in the office so it was a big runaround. I would never go back to them and I would really reconsider anything that they’re saying if I could give them I would beware you could never get a hold of anybody and you can’t call directly to the office either.

Great experience renting a unit from NY to FL. Was able to sign the lease agreement. Purchase insurance and get the payment processed online with only a phone call and 2 emails. Seamless. Quick. Efficient. And Tammy and Lou are just warm, helpful humans.
