Habitat Restore & Donation Center is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center. It sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, building materials, and a lot of household items like dishes and wiring at discounted prices. The store is very nice and surprisingly spacious inside. It is not a thrift store but a charity store where proceeds help fund the mission to build safe, affordable homes. Customers can find amazing deals, affordable quality items, brand-name clothes, prom dresses, and nice houseware. While some note prices can seem high, the purpose is to support a great cause and cover business expenses. The work done to build homes is amazing and beautiful. Shopping there supports a local business, helps a cause, and allows people to find items for less than retail. It is a gem of a store and a great find.
While I like this store still, it seems to me that their prices have gotten high. It is a THRIFT store after all, your going to raise MORE money by selling more, because last time I checked that's how it works. You'll sell more if you're not trying to sell USED items for 10% -20% less than buying new items.... Just saying
