I will not take my animals anywhere else. Dr. B, Dr. Kue, the techs & everyone else there are just heaven sent. The doctors listen to you & actually care for your pets. They always follow up on your babies, Dr. Kue even sat on the phone with me for almost 15 minutes discussing how my dog was doing after being diagnosed with cancer. These people are incredible & so knowledgeable. I’ve been going here for YEARS & have never felt like they didn’t genuinely care about my pets or any issues they were having. I cannot stress this enough this is the BEST vet around this area hands down. It is also hard to find an affordable & thorough reptile vet. Dr B is so good with my boy Sweeney & I could never thank her enough for liter saving his life when he was sick, she knows her stuff. Dr. Kue has spayed/neutered both of my rabbits & made the process so easy on me as I worry so much lol he kept me informed on how they were doing & did such a great job with them even with my girl who isn’t super friendly. Thank you for everything you do!!! I seriously can’t express my appreciation enough for everything Claws & Paws has done for me, & my babies over the years.

I had an exceptional experience at Claws and Paws Vet Hospital. The care and attention provided to my pet were outstanding, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. I highly recommend them and would rate them 10/10!

All I can say about this vet and his staff is you all have hearts of gold!. I got turned away from another vet, I went to claws and paws thinking the same thing that they were going to turn me away, absolutely not! This vet and his staff love their jobs, and the animals they see everyday. While the other vets where home already, this 1 and his staff stayed till after 730 pm to try to save my cats life,!. He did manage to save her for a couple more days. I've never had any vet go through everything to save my cat, and be so on point, and in a calm manner to where you could understand him. All I'm saying is that claws and paws will be from here in our my vet if choice hands down!. 100% trust in him and his staff. If you want a vet that truly cares about you and your pet and treat you with respect, then come and see for yourself! . My words are just words and I can't show you with just my words, you have to come in and you will never go anywhere else. Thank you very much claws and paws, you guys are truly amazing. Thank you.

Depending on the vet, Paws and Claws is a tale of two clinics. Dr. Jennifer Brisbois is a very caring and thorough vet who saved our dying cat's life, and to whom we continue to bring our animals. Dr. Kue on the other hand is a negligent, insufferable and condescending phoney who in October of 2022 carelessly and negligently misdiagnosed our dog with a stomach ache, which turned out to be incurable spleen cancer. At the time it seemed Dr Kue was more concerned with pushing heartworm preventative and condescendingly admonishing my Wife and I for not having our dog on a heartworm treatment (we had just moved to Florida and were working on finding the best combo treatment for fleas ticks and hw). In this October visit we paid for x-rays, blood work and whatever else was necessary to diagnose our dog. We were told that the x-rays and bloodwork were fine and that the blood in his stool and the malaise was "just a tummy ache". Six months later we brought him back for the same issue but at this time he has a mass on his spleen. This of course can happen, unfortunately it turns out when we requested his patient records we found out his previous blood work that was taken in October of 2022 at paws and claws was very suspicious for spleen abnormalities and in the case of our dog's breed would have red flagged spleen cancer. We of course didn't find this out until we were forced to take our dog to another vet. While Dr Kue claimed he could perform a splenectomy, only after making us wait nearly 5 days for him to schedule a mobile imaging van (he can't do ultrasounds on site) we would have to drive our dog into downtown Tampa after the surgery to be monitored. That didn't make any sense to use so we brought him to a surgeon that could do everything on site. This surgeon looked at our Dog's previous lab work from 7 months prior and concluded he was highly suspicious of spleen cancer at a time it would have been much easier to treat. Our Dog did have the splenectomy, but unfortunately during the surgery it was apparent the cancer had spread to his liver and he died a few weeks later. That was a year ago today and not a day goes by without our family missing him. I write this review not to hurt the practice of paws and claws but maybe to serve as a wakeup call for dr kue. Instead of being a sanctimonious jackass intent only on shaming us about hw treatment, he should have read the lab report he charged us for and potentially caught our Dog's cancer when it was treatable. I doubt he is the kind of man that will admit to his mistakes, which makes it much less likely or almost impossible for him to fix them, but let this review be his mirror. This is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. I just call this place with a feral cat that is about ready to pass and all I got was since you’re not a client we can’t help you. This is an animal people. Thank god for Zephyrhills veterinary clinic! They took are and unfortunately she died from what she had but this was a ferrel! Unlike claws and paws that told me again and I quote!” If you don’t have an account with us then we can’t help!”
Well I pray to god that others see this and know they don’t care!

Update: Be patient with them. Usually takes a while passed your appointment time, but that's because they're providing quality care every single time. Well worth the wait. They are so kind and patient with my neurotic rescue!

Everyone was just great here. She had a vaccination and didn't seem to have a hard time with it.
