Spent over $1500 and they did not fix all that was supposed to be, (that was on the written estimate) only took off half of an hour labor and kept my truck for a week. Will never see me again!

I've had few cars repaired of past 25 year all over coast. I'm usually a DIY person but I know my limits and know when I need to take my car to repair shop. Carters auto repair are few and far between. there is not many high quality and honest repair men anymore left out there. I've worked in service industry for 30+ years and this shop is A+ , 5 Star , Premium. I have been all shops in Nassau County and they all want to pick and choose the easy repair work and say it will be 2 to 4 weeks for repairs because they don't want to do the work or give a outlandish Price $$$$$. Great Customer service Old Style. which no longer exist in this fast paced society we live in today. Well worth the money even if you pay a little extra.!!Services: General repairs & maintenance

After my car sat in their lot for two months and I paid 2500 for a head gasket replacement, the car broke down a week later. I called them and no one answered and/or called me back after voicemails. The car sat in my driveway until I finally said screw it and got it towed there. I was told "oh it could be 3 weeks." After two weeks I got no progress and was fed up and had it towed somewhere else. The mechanic said they didn't even change the water pump that it was leaking and the crank sensor looked like this (below). Not to mention the fact during the time my car was getting repaired a rodent got in and chewed the crap out of my seats and car mats. I was offered no help in that area either. I'm a usually patient person but this is complete bs. DO NOT GO HERE!
