Terrible service! Carmen the manager is only helpful if she’s getting money from you. Take your banking needs anywhere else but here! Closing an account is difficult and takes multiple visit and then you’re hit with fees that they have no desire to consider waiving.

Worst banking experience ever. Took several hours over multiple visits to open an account. Transactions were painfully slow. Closing the account was a nightmare, again multiple visits and multiple hours spent. Could not completely close checking account, was told $50 must stay because my account was "too new". Forgot about the $50 and then got hit for inactivity fees. Went to close again and could not because the account was dormant. Infuriating.

I made a deposit last month from a Canadian Bank. I was sent a letter from Trustco the following day saying the deposit amount was removed from my account so the bank could request the funds directly from the Canadian bank. I was informed more than 2 weeks later that IT COULD TAKE UP TO 40 DAYS TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE CHECK AMOUNT! That's no typo - 40 DAYS! (I've been waiting 24 days so far.) Someone needs to inform Trustco Bank that they don't need to drive a horse-drawn covered wagon to Canada to get my funds! This is 2023!This is just one of several negative instances I've had with this bank. All banks offer reasonably similar products and services, so if you have any choice stay away from Trustco - all branches.

Bank Manager Carmen is super welcoming and kind. The rest of the staff as well were very welcoming. Best Trustco Bank I have been to yet.

The tellers are friendly and very helpful. I do most of my banking at this facility. I am always greeted with a friendly face and a hello!

Transferred my account to TRUSTCO many in 2013 and have not regrets. I love this Branch. I feel welcomed warmly by Presca and Carmen, as well as the tellers, feel a sense of family. Always received very friendly and professional services. I've seen the same service given to other customers in the bank as well as those entering the bank too. I also experienced the same courtesy in the Poughkeepsie, NY Branch. I've had Bank Accounts in other Commercial Banks and believe me, I've never had a personalized experience such as this. I've personally recommended this bank to family & friends. And I never done that before.

Worst banking experience of my life. They will charge overdraft fee's unjustly and will not reimburse you. Small bank that only cares its bottom line. Very disappointed! they have a system that generates overdraft fee's even when funds are available then they don't correct it. Better off with a bigger bank that will always help you when your in a jam.

I love this bank, its a smaller bank with a personal touch. I dont miss anything from the bigger banks around the corner. Carmen and Presca are very helpful and treat you like family.

The staff is ill informed and lies about what they asked for. They do not know how to deposit with a debit card. They NEVER asked me for ID. Their branch manager called me to dress me down about being irate that the teller was unable to perform basic banking requests. Would not recommend.

I've been with Trustco for years and this is the rudest bank I've ever been to. I just moved and I needed to put money into my father's account. I did not have my bank account number on me at the time but this is something I do every month. The person working the windows name was Trisha and she was so unbelievably rude as far as me not having my account present and almost refused to put the money in. I don't live near my father so I needed to make sure the money was in his account by the weekend. I will be driving to Aloma from now on where they at least treat their customers better because I'm just amazed Trisha is okay with being so rude to her customers.

Hometown bank, nice friendly personnel mostly satisfied with prompt& courteous personal service, also they have better rates for savings etc and offer most big bank services in a cozy family atmosphere, have never being pressured to purchase CDs or other financial options in general,bank managers always available to assist customers with any and all transactions in a very professional and courteous manner, would recommend to anyone who desires to be not just another number Kudos to this hometown bank
