Writer's Block Bookstore is a local, independent community bookstore in beautiful downtown Winter Park, with a second location in Winter Garden. Serving the Orlando area since 2014, it is a full-service shop with all the favorites, New York Times best-sellers, and Indie Next picks. The store is small but charming, very well stocked and curated, with an expanded kids’ section and a cute stationery section, including oven mitts with catchy sayings and a nice selection of banned books. It is a definite gem and a favorite shop, known for a lot of fun events like author visits, monthly book clubs, and book signings. The staff are super friendly, sweet, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable, providing excellent customer service and helping to find gifts or recommendations. The store offers a charming and awesome experience in the quaint downtown area.
We absolutely love the children's section of Writer's Block; it has a great variety of books. We love to go up there and read. We always finds one or more books to buy. Shout out to the team of knowledgeable staff as well.
