Horrible groomer. Extremely rude demeaning! Refused to groom my shitzu because he was matted in areas. She said Petco won't groom dogs that are matted. Funny I've been bringing my dog to the same location for years and he was never denied before and he always has had matted hair in areas because of licking. She was recommending her personal friend to do it however? I brought my dog to another groomer that had no issues? I will never return to Petco again

Our dog's fur cut looked unfinished. Harmony is supposed to be their lead groomer. If that's the best they can do... Yikes.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. Absolutely horrendous. Staff was not approachable at all. The system is very fast paced with no consideration to the customers. The woman asked for my pets information and walked away without any instruction. She then turns around and gets upset for not following her. She then takes my dogs weight and when she finished all customers are told to wait in the aisles since theres no actual waiting area. I noticed the vets were very rough with the animals and showed no effort to make the animal comfortable. The vets struggle with the dog for the customer in front of me and ultimately handed the customer a syringe with medication and instructed the customer to administer it themselves. I took my dog for a bordatella vaccine. When they brought him back to me they had mistakenly given him a rabies vaccine!!!! They then gave him the bordatella vaccine. This was my first and last visit to Vetco. Who knows what other medication mix-ups they are having there. If you care about your furry friends keep them as far away from this service as possible.

KUDOS and thanks to Matthew for providing supreme quality customer service at Petco! He even helped me sign me sign up for Petro's loyalty program so I may receive points for the 1st time! I encourage all to come and visit, plus support this local Petco!

Don't take your yorkies here! I have been having my dog groomed here with a vets approval for months now. They told me initially that if he had a collapsed tracheae they can't take him but since most yorkies have a collapsed trachea and I have had him getting groomed since he was 12 weeks old. Nonetheless rules are rules and the girl who worked here before told me she needed approval from the vet and she got it. So now some lazy new girl who I can tell just doesn't want to work on a holiday and has no idea what's she is doing just made excuses didn't have answers to my questions and couldn't get a hold of a manager! Turn over for stylists here are high and I can see why! Do yourself a favor go to Petsmart or a boutique grooming place because this place is filled with incompetent groomers.

I scheduled a nail trimming for my dog in advance and let the scheduler know that she is a very anxious dog. Tech said no problem bring her in. No nail trimming happened and I had to take our dog to the ER vet because the tech caused soft tissue damage to her throat. Our dog was whimpering and could not drink water or eat.
