I took in an 18K gold bracelet to sell. Mind you I went to another place and they offered me $1,200. I was curious to see what another place would offer. I don’t know what system or what type of “reading the gun” was giving the young lady, but she said she wouldn’t feel comfortable purchasing it and that she didn’t believe it was 18K. For a fact I know it’s 18K because my mother gave it to me and she doesn’t buy anything less than 18K ever. Perhaps they didn’t have the funds to buy it or they are “selective” in who they want to buy from. Stay away from here!! Find a good place that will be honest and will pay what your jewelry is actually worth.Thank you for your explanation about your process and your “very expensive X-ray machine “. I’m unsure what you find interesting about me leaving a review about receiving an offer for $1,200 elsewhere and wanting to check another place out then being told “you don’t feel comfortable buying it” and me leaving a review because either your employee as I mentioned is selective in who she wants to buy from or your very expensive machine is obviously flawed. It’s good to let others know what to expect if they visit your establishment.After leaving I returned to the store that had offered me $1,200 and they bought it. Everyone check out Laurie’s Jewelry!! If you waste your time going to this place first and you’re turned away from here because your jewelry doesn’t pass their “requirements” check out Laurie’s jewelry!!

Don was excellent at helping me sell various pieces of jewelry. He took his time, was very patient explaining what he was finding and gave me a fair price. I had used them before for selling coins and knew that was the place to go for a honest, professional experience.

Rude young woman...actually quite amazed at her demeanor and attitude.She acted as though coming into the "store" was a huge burden on her.Have no idea how a business continues to operate with people in a customer service role who are as rude and unfriendly as this person (dark hair pulled back).
