Super disappointed in this LA Fitness. The hit training area is off limits to members? The gym is empty and I’m unable to use an area of the gym with all of the tools that I need for my workout. Top it off the sauna is down and the employees have no idea when it will be back. LA fitness get it together

I’ve had an excellent experience with LA Fitness. Mark at the front desk is consistently friendly and goes out of his way to help, often providing useful workout tips that have enhanced my fitness routine.
The gym’s cleanliness is remarkable. Every part of the facility, including the locker rooms, is spotless. The equipment is well-maintained and readily available, even during peak hours.
LA Fitness has a welcoming and energetic environment. If you’re looking for a gym that values cleanliness, offers a wide range of equipment, and has a helpful staff, this is the place for you. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a member of LA Fitness for over a year now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best gyms I’ve been to. Mark at the front desk is always friendly and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, he greets you with a smile and ensures you have everything you need for a great workout. He even offers helpful tips for improving your workout routine.
The gym itself is spotless. The staff clearly takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment. The equipment is well-maintained, and there are plenty of machines available, even during peak hours. The locker rooms are also very clean and spacious.
Overall, LA Fitness provides a top-notch experience. Highly recommended!

Very poorly equipped for that price. Caters to boomers with squash courts and an empty swimming pool that stinks the gym out with chlorine.

Great location, tremendously accommodating staff whom are all superbly knowledgeable in fitness goals to help everyone become successful in their journey in the shortest amount of time possible. The LA Fitness in Winter Park is in need of a place with accessible Trx Straps and battle ropes. The only part in the gym with those is in Personal Fitness area where you cannot use them unless you pay for a personal trainer. I've asked multiple times and get excuses saying that corporate says they can't have them and there's nowhere to put them. Any suggestions?

The dude Brian that works here is a joke. Came in as a guest for the third day out of my 2 weeks free guest pass and was told by the kid in front I needed to see Brian real quick. Brian came to the front desk and immediately started talking about their membership promotion which is fine that’s his job. But as a customer I’m allowed to say I’m all good I got a busy schedule and want to get in quick work out in I’m not interested in any promos. He then said he didn’t see me as guest but then we showed him the app with my name as a guest. I’m now asking several times what is it that’s needed from me to get into the gym. He said I needed to go through a quick interview with him at his desk to figure out my workout plan and some extra stuff. I said again my schedule is tight I’m just tryna go in and out is that necessary. At this time we get into a back and forth and I’m constantly asking what’s the issue because I have been checked in twice and haven’t had an issue. He then goes on a tangent about how much I talk and how difficult I am. He tells me that I should reflect on myself as a person because he’s never dealt with anybody like me. Then compares him self to police and asked if I’m this difficult with the cops which I responded with of course not but you’re no cop. Finally I asked him if it’s my ID he’s looking for and he said yes. Then I asked if I need to sign anything and he said yes. So I gave him my ID and signed a consent form which could’ve been asked for in the first place and then I went to go workout. Unfortunately that experience had me so frustrated I did not feel like working out anymore so I left. Before I left I asked for his name one more time. He shook my hand and apologized. I didn’t say anything and I went to walk out the door but he started to call me back to his desk where he wanted to explain him self. I said I’m good bro but he kept talking and I told him where I’m frustrated at is where he started to talk on my character and got disrespectful because I declined his promotion pitch. He said that didn’t happen so I said ok whatever I’m buggin then and started to walk away where he called me again and said to ask the kid at the front desk what happened where I told him I don’t really give f*** anymore cuz he was getting me mad. Then he said see you’re cursing and getting aggressive and after that I just left because at this point the Situation was starting to get me really angry and I was starting to yell. I don’t understand why an employee would keep calling back an angry customer to argue. Luckily out this whole situation one of the other workers were really nice and gave my cousin a refund for his initiation fee and membership due to how we were treated. Paying $35-$45 a month with a $75 initiation fee is insane especially to get treated poorly just because you decline a promotion pitch.

This location is very clean. The temperature is comfortable, not hot at all. It wasn't packed, and the environment was pleasant. There isn't an operable sauna.

Really disappointed that the sauna has been non functional for the past 6 months - and even more disappointed that they can’t do anything for members as a courtesy regarding the premium monthly price to be a member here. 1 of the few things that separated this gym from crunch or planet was their sauna. At least there is no charge to cancel the membership so I added a star for that. The manager was very helpful, they basically suspended my membership and I won’t have to pay the initiation fees once the sauna is up and running if I want to turn it back on. Im happy with that so I added a star!

The temperature in the gym for the basketball court/ volleyball court is way too hot to where it causes condensation in the gym. It’s a safety problem because people are slipping and falling on the court and causing them to get hurt. It’s been like this for 2 weeks, i went there on a weekend when it was only five people and there was still the same problem, so it’s not because the amount of people in the gym. They should make or fix the A/C to where it works just as good as the one in the weight area. People are scared to run in there because it’s a big risk hazard .

Disappointed in managers lack of knowledge. Finally received an answer from one of the trainers. Is it not her job to find out what the answer is as opposed to saying “I don’t know”
