Hip Dog owners are the best you could ask for. They love ALL dogs, and all dogs love them. Swimming is the best exercise for dogs, easy on their joints, keeps those joints flexible & lubricated, and relieves pain due to stiffness and arthritic pain. My 88 lb yellow Lab Tucker is 12 years and has degenerative joint issues in all four legs. He is my second dog I've taken to Hip Dog to swim. I take Tucker twice a week, and the improvement is significant. We used to have to put a sling around his mid section to help him walk up and down the stairs in our home. Now he does it all by himself.. and he pretty proud of himself! He can also climb into the couches and our bed without our assistance. Highly, highly recommend. The earlier you start your dog swimming, the better to keep arthritis and degenerative issues from occurring.

I found it to be very helpful for my dog as far as therapy for her. My problem is with the amount being charged. I am retired senior & do want the best for my pup but on my limited income it’s just not feasible. The owners are absolutely wonderful with the dogs so if you can afford it, go for it.? ?

Hip Dog is an incredible establishment that provides so much healing and therapy for all kinds of doggies. My dog is a 3 1/2 y/o pittie with a CCL tear, and she was afraid of the water at first but with Kristina’s help now she’s so excited for her swim sesh and swims the entire session! It’s helped her release so much anxiety, pent up energy, improved her mobility in her leg, and even boosts her confidence! I highly recommend Hip Dog for anyone who has a dog, injured or not!

My dog needed (still on her weight loss journey) to lose atleast 40 lbs due to a previous owner abused her with overfeeding. She went from a Large swim vest to a Medium here at Hip Dog! She also has alot of fear of everything and others and some knee issues and this has helped her so much. Everyone is so beyond kind, patient, consistent, and caring. Great work Hip Dog! We ♥️ you.

I recently started taking my senior girl Misty to Hip Dog Canine Hydrotherapy and am so glad I did! They have been great with her and I’m pretty sure Misty is enjoying the experience. Her legs are getting stronger everyday because of the therapy she’s getting here.

The owners, Tom & Kristina, love and care for every pet as if it were their own! They build relationships with every client and will accommodate their needs as much as they can.

Excellent expertise and dog care provided here. They are very thorough not only with the hydrotherapy but aswell as massaging and treating animals with the utmost respect and love. You would all be amazed just how good these people are at what they do and very reasonably priced. Simply the best. If you really want your dog to live a long and active life this is your place to go. They're also good at diagnosing and working with your dogs needs.

Our two dogs just had their second swim today! Wonderful place with kind people. Even though our dogs are a little bit afraid of water as they’ve never swim before, they seem to have lots of fun. Great exercise in this summer heat! Thank you! (Casper & Maisy)

Kristina, Tom and their friendly assistants have been the perfect choice to teach a somewhat timid Aussiedoodle puppy to feel comfortable in the water, and swim! I couldn’t be happier with Bear’s progress. The sight of his pool towel brings excitement on swim day, a sure sign of fun ahead. Looking forward to many visits…truly a special place for a dog to gain confidence and learn to enjoy the water! 5 stars!!

Hip Dog is simply the best. Excellent people and it’s the thing my dogs look forward to every week. They have helped my 13 year old Labrador keep himself moving!

Tom & Kristina are knowledgeable, professional, friendly & caring. When I first brought “Athena” to them for therapy for her arthritis, she had never been swimming & she was 9yrs old. But the pool set-up w/a gently sloping ramp, a life jacket & some urging w/treats, soon had her in the salt water pool. At first she was tense & anxious. It showed. But Kristina sweet-talked her into relaxing & once up on the ledge, a massage & gentle stretches for those poor old joints. That part isn’t so bad. ? After many returns, she still isn’t fond of the water, but she likes Tom, Kristina & their assistants. The treats & rub downs are always good. If they can get a non-water-loving, 80lb Mastiff mix to swim, they can help anyone. See pix on their Facebook page of dogs literally leaping into the pool. They are also amazing w/amputee dogs. My vet says swimming is great for Athena as it allows her to use her muscles w/o the strain of her body weight. The other best part is the totally, absolutely reasonable pricing. I definitely feel I get my money’s worth & Athena gets some awesome treatment for her stiff, old bones I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Christina, Tom and all their assistants are fantastic. We said goodbye to our sweet Cali girl on July 3rd, 2023 after 12, almost 13 amazing years with her. Cali had hip and elbow dysplasia which was diagnosed in 2020 and I can say with 100% confidence that hip dog gave us more time with her. They are the sweetest people and make you feel like family. I miss not seeing them every week but if we ever need hydrotherapy for any future pups they are our #1 pick!

These are wonderful people who truly love animals. I have brought 2 dogs to them, an elderly lady who needed help with her mobility, and more recently, a lab puppy with a terrible fear of the water. The results in both cases were wonderful. They put a lot of tender care into what they do, and truly are aquatic dog whisperers!

Chloe has been coming to Hip Dog for about 2 1/2yrs. She absolutely loves it and is “ over the moon” with her weekly sessions. It helps keep her hips strong and flexible, helps her cardiovascular system and is overall the best exercise for a senior German Shepherd. The staff is super attentive, and very good with her, even though she is a “landshark”! ?
