Worst experience I was charged for, and the car didn't get and get, and when I called, I got the run around they are quick to take your money out to give it back is a hassle. Excuse after Excuse... till today, I still have not gotten my money back.

I would confidently rate this place a 0. Waited at the paint shop for 1.5 hours for the car to be dropped off. The paint shop called multiple times to ensure they were still coming. Enterprise came and picked someone else up in 20 minutes.

Waiting time is terrible, while you being helped the front desk attendant answers phone calls, receives return rentals, pretty much helps anyone but stops working on your file while doing so. We had to wait for 4 other people to be helped while it was our turn.

Poor service the guy at the front desk was rude and looknlike he was sick with no mask on his face and could not help me with my rental reservation though my insurance ? would not ever come to this hurts again

Read the reviews and avoid. Booked a vehicle and showed up only to be told they don’t have any available and I’d be put on a wait list.Was told there are no cars available at any Hertz location. Called the colonial location and they did.. I shouldn’t have to do their job for them.In addition, after I did receive a car an hour later, they had three in the parking spaces adjacent that I returned after hours-was a mile away at work- and they were still there. Sorry, but lying is terrible customer service- my guess is the SUVs that were in spaces would rent higher than the class I booked so they said nothing was available.Will never rent from that location again.(Response to owner-you're seeing the same problem at that location over and over again. Why hasn't anything changed? Maybe if you put the same effort into changing your business model as you do responding to negative reviews, you wouldn't have issues with unhappy customers)

Terrible customer service and rude as hell employee. I’ll never rent a car from this location. Their “system” would only allow me to use my debit card if I book 24 hours in advance. Not so with Enterprise. Lost my business forever.

The person that works at the front desk just simply doesn’t want to be there. Extremely rude and disrespectful and raises his voice for no reason at the simplest questions. He said he was the manager and that he decided not to help me when I only asked him to talk more respectfully and not raise his voice. I believe his name is Brandon and this was going to be my first experience with Herz. I had just dropped off my car at Gerber Collision next door and walked to this Herz location after thinking that it would be better than going to enterprise and was ready to rent a vehicle for 2 weeks until this went down. I’m literally waiting on my Uber ride to go to enterprise as well. And I recommend everyone to do the same thing as long as that unprofessional individual works there cause you’ll simply have the worst experience and make your being without a cat ordeal even worse. Do better

I’m following up to my original one star review. I made a reservation for a car, paid for an Uber to go to this location and they had no available cars. I was told by the person working the front desk that this happens all the time. I paid for another Uber to leave and rented elsewhere. Hertz has the unethical practices of charging me for not picking up the car. I will never rent from Hertz again. They drive you to their website so you don’t talk to anyone they have to pay a wage to —and then don’t follow through with there service and charge you.

If you're a gamer tell me how I just got a PS5 from a friend in Jacksonville, but I can't rent a car from a company WALKING DISTANCE from me because they close at 4 and are closed on the weekends. What kind of hours are they running???

I booked on May 5th to pick up on May 26th. 21 days in advance only to be told they weren’t able to get me a Cargo Van 2 days before I was meant to pick it up. They were unable to accommodate anything. At this point my flight had already landed and my suppliers were ready for me to pick up. Hertz completely ruined my plans even though I had a confirmation number already. They cost me hundreds of dollars and multiple hours of stress. Never again trusting Hertz, as they offered nothing even though I’ve been a renter for years. Basically said “toughluck, you’re on your own”. Hertz corporate office, feel free to reach out to me if you’d like further information. I know I’ll try to reach out to you. This is unacceptable.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! CLOSES AT 4pm AND CLOSED ON WEEKENDS. I WAS GIVEN A VEHICLE THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN RENTED OUT (not cleaned and mechanical issues, overdue for service, High mileage) ALL BECAUSE THE VEHICLE I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED AND WAS FILTHY. I had to swap out my rental on my return trip from out of state due to an out of ballace tire that caused the vehicle to vibrate and hum during all 11 hours on the road. After an hour on the phone, and another 90 minutes going out of the way. way
