I've been working with Phil at Fleishman & Associates for years. His advice has been extremely valuable for my business, and you can tell he truly cares about you as a person as well as a client. I was trained to be a CPA so I'm typically a tough customer, but Phil really knows his stuff and offers fair and practical guidance.It's pretty common for CPA firms to occasionally receive complaints about being "too slow", however I find a lot of that is because many customers don't consider the Cost/Quality/Speed trilemma. Phil is good and affordable, which means he's in high demand. If you're looking for a fast turnaround during tax season, be prepared to pay him a lot more or accept lower quality somewhere else. This is the unfortunate reality of the profession, which unfortunately many people don't understand or appreciate. You can't get all three anywhere else, why would a CPA firm be different? I'm very happy with Phil's service.

If Phil doesn't care, it's not obvious. I can call him anytime, 12 months out of the year and he will answer my question, give me advice or just listen to my rant. He almost always ask about my family somewhere in our conversation.

Absolutely DO NOT recommend this company. He sent in the wrong paperwork 2 years ago for our small business election and it’s been a nightmare trying to fix. Such a careless mistake..we signed copies right in front of him that we’re supposed to be faxed. He carelessly faxed the unsigned copies and then denied any wrong doing months later even though the IRS sent back the UNSIGNED copies. Careless preparer with absolutely zero accountability for his mistakes.

Do not use this accountant. He was paid to create my LLC and never followed up to make sure everything was in order to be able to file business taxes. I still hired him to prepare my personal taxes. Sent him everything needed and two months later, they still were not done. When I was able to get him to respond, the answer was always, "it will be done next week" This went on for over a month until I finally went with another CPA. He not only cost me money in regards to my business, he also delayed my personal return.

Several years ago I was introduced to Phil, the owner of the firm. Phil and his team have been fantastic to work with. I have used Fleishman & Associates for my business and personal needs. I've been very happy with the quality of their work & responsiveness. I've also referred several family members and friends to Fleishman & Associates and they've also had a good experience. If you're looking for a CPA firm that can communicate well, has substantial experience, and doesn't overcharge for their services, you'd do well by calling Fleishman & Associates for tax and business services.
