Horrible! Customer service if I did not book my vehicle with points I would’ve canceled and went else where! Let me start by saying I work in hospitality so I always expect a certain level of services, especially when being a loyal member of a brand. I walked in , I wasn’t greeted I had to speak first in order to even get assistance , the young lady told me it would be a 20 minute wait for a vehicle I got in at 1:53pm my reservation was for 2:00pm I had an event for 2:45pm of course I was late to the event! When asked can I speak to a manager about the wait NONE AVAILABLE, when asked would I receive compensation CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE, however all the white customers walked in and walked right out with a vehicle oh not to mention they was surely greeted. When asked at 2:28pm how long before I can get a vehicle I was given the run around , I walk outside I see a few cars cleaned and ready to go! She then tells me oh it’s 2 mins for your vehicle to be ready 2:32pm still not in the vehicle... I asked Davonna politely how long before I can get into my vehicle because at this moment she’s check in another guest and giving them keys to a vehicle, I wasn’t given keys to take the vehicle until 2:34PM ??♂️ then she proceeds to tell me DONT SMOKE IN THE CAR, I’ve been a loyal customer of Avis since I was 18 I am now 31! I know the rules I felt very targeted because I’m black , why shoutout the rules to me when every other customer that was white was just issued keys and told to have a nice day! Oh and on top of that the vehicle that took almost an hour to clean , dirty on the inside I found cheese doo-doo’s under the seat crumps in between the seats but it’s “clean” Safe to say I will never rent from Avis orthis location again!

Great experience with this Avis location! Jeff was excellent in helping me get a car. I booked the car 2 days in advance through Avis customer service, was a bit of a nerve wracking bc many of the reviews were people booking but not getting a car. I actually realized that the corporate overbooks but they don’t have that many cars to give, that’s why some people r left with no rental. When I read those reviews I went to Enterprise, which is 10 mins away from this location. On their website was saying 45 cars available at that location, but when I went there they had 8 people ahead of me who booked in advance but were not given a car. So I guess this is just a bad practice from these corporate greedy companies that shouldn’t be booking no matter what. So definitely not a fault from the local dealers. This Avis location gave me the car I booked in a timely manner, so everything good. Thanks Jeff for taking care of us! Will be definitely renting again from you if ever again in Orlando.

Worst car rental experience of my life Staff was rude and disrespectful. Not only to me but other customers in the lobby, both upon pick up and return. One star is way too much. If I never return to this rental establishment it’ll be too soon.

Bad experience! Check out process was met with rude staff…who told us that if car was returned early, daily rate would not be charged as long as cat was brought back by the time it was checked out. Upon return…different individual working was even more rude. Stated we were being charged a weekly rate, even though car was brought back two days early. We tried to explain what we were told and staff stated “you are being explained now.” Would not recommend this location or rent from there any more.

Horrible, rude, mindless, idiotic business. Booked a rental online, received confirmation by email, and showed up to wait 1.5 hours for the car while the person at the front desk repeatedly said she was new and didn’t know how to complete the paperwork. She called the manager repeatedly whose only input was to tell me to go somewhere else. Whatever you do, take his advice and don’t do business at this location.

Avoid Avis!I recently had an unfortunate experience with Avis that I feel compelled to share. I've always been skeptical of Avis due to their reputation for poor customer service, but on September 30th, I decided to give them another chance. Here's what transpired:I made a prepaid reservation, hoping for a smooth rental process and confidence that they would refund me if they couldn't fulfill it. However, this turned out to be a costly mistake. Not only did Avis fail to provide me with a car, but they also charged me for a car they never gave me!A representative from the Avis rental location called me to inform me that they had no cars available, not just for me, but for anyone. This begs the question: why does Avis display cars for booking on their website, allowing customers to pay and plan, only to later receive an impersonal call saying, "Sorry, we don't have any cars." It's almost as if they're using this tactic to collect prepaid funds and speculate on the stock market to double their profits!I had to resort to renting from Enterprise, where I thankfully encountered no issues. However, I was shocked to discover that Avis still charged me for the rental. Avis not only ruined my plans, but I also had to scramble to find another car early in the morning, incurring an additional cost of around $30 for an Uber ride to the Avis location. To make matters worse, I'm still struggling to get my money back. This is the epitome of Avis.Stay away from them.

This was the worst rental car experience I ever experienced. After returning the car I was charged with a fee for supposedly dropping the car off overnight when I actually dropped the key off at 9:00AM when they open. I watched a female worked (African American) walk into the building at 8:54AM on 9/24/23. I watched her unlock the door and walk in. When 9:00 hit she still had not unlocked the door so I dropped the key in the drop box and pointed to her that the key was there. She waved back saying ok. Then I was charged with a $450 smoking fee WHEN I DID NOT smoke in the car not one time!!!!!!!!!!!!! The TESLA has cameras inside the damn car. They can easily pull back the video. The worker is telling me that I did. I was charged $1127 for something I did not do. This is the worst freaking rental car location ever and I will be contacting the BBB along with my lawyer

Horrible experience. They didn't have the car I reserved. Wouldn't allow me to rent a vehicle without a soft credit check, which in the previous 100 times I've rented cars, I've never had this happen. The associate was completely unwilling to work with me at all to find a solution and get me a rental car. Basically, he told me to kick rocks and didn't have a car for me. I will never use Avis ever again in my life.

I am not sure of the charges how they work when you get a $20 extra on your account or then you see gas charges for it so I have to buy the gas that they filled up on and then still fill it up when I get there that's kind of stupid I wish they would explain and this one does not let you use the restroom customers cannot use the restroom if you're sitting in there 10 hours you might have to go somewhere else to use the restroom just so you know

I'm writing this in defense of Jeff Brown as he is always hustling and providing the best service to me. I probably rent more frequently than most and can say that for a small operation, they do a great job. I've had to use other Avis locations and other rental agencies around Winter Park and none have been more helpful than this one.

DO NOT rent from this location. I only gave this rental location a one star because I couldn't go any lower. Customer service was beyond terrible, and when the person attending to us found out that my husband was a disabled military veteran, he decided to cancel our booking, leaving us with no other option but to spend over $550 out of pocket for 2 hotel stays. Apparently, military are not welcome at this location.

This place is about as bad as it gets. Regularly doesn’t have cars when you make a reservation and the staff is incredibly lazy and unprofessional. Good lord this place needs help.

Car confirmed for 1:30pm. Arrived to be told there were no cars try calling by 5pm. Tried calling over and over again, finally got through to be put on hold and never came back to the line. Lesson learned, Avis customer service is never good outside of airport locations.
