I don't even know where to begin. I could write a 5-paper essay on why this gym is the worst gym in town. BUT I'll just highlight the main points. The gym is disgusting. Cleanliness should be a top priority, but it's not. They've literally never heard of a vacuum or broom. Once, I was mid- plank, when a tumbleweed of lint, hair and other debris just breezed right in front of me. There was a dead roach in the studio that had been chilling there for a couple of days.. There are BARELY any cleaning stations and if you get to one, it's more than likely out of paper, so you go to a different paper towel dispenser, guess what? That one is out too! Or broken. Either way this is a common occurrence. Things are either dirty, broken or empty. Next up, the staff... Let's start with a kid that works at the front. Bless his heart because he has no people skills. My partner and I go up to him to let him know that another gym goer is throwing the plates on the ground when he's done using them. I was behind him when he did that and it startled me so bad, my ears were ringing. Hey buddy, if you can't set them down, don't pick them up? This is an everyday occurrence but we had enough. We told the employee because we didn't want to address him ourselves. Employee says, "This isn't a Planet Fitness.... but I'll go over there and check it out." I asked him, "Go check what out? You can hear it every other minute" (as he's slamming the plates). He didn't like my response and proceeded to tell us we can just go find another gym. Okay we will. Next up, I am working out on the squat rack, and the janitor insists I take my headphones off to talk to him. Reluctantly and mistakenly, I did. He proceeds to ask me how I'm doing and asks me if I go to church.... ?? When I responded, no. He tells me, "Well that's what your problem is." I said, "Is it?" and I just smiled, said thank you and walked away. I didn't complain, I just left. I told my partner to vent, but he called to speak with the manager. And of course, nothing was resolved and she just apologized and said "I know who you're talking about, he does talk about religion a lot" EXCUSE ME ? You all are fried. Anyway, she didn't ask for our names or nothing. Fast forward to today! When I was in the locker room changing and a MALE worker walked in unannounced. I saw no signage. This male worker is a creep by the way he always sizes me up. I'm also a people watcher, and I see how he looks at other women. For him to just walk in there like it's his playground, is vile. This time I did have to say something to the same manager as before (you know who you are). I said verbatim, "Hey can I ask you a question? Are male workers allowed to work in the women's locker room unannounced?" Her response, "He's been in there all morning." ?? I said, "Okay I was in there at 11:10 and he was there." Her response, "There's usually a yellow floor sign with signage. Was it not there?" Me, "No, there wasn't". Her, "I'll be sure to check it out." I just said okay and walked back to the locker room to retrieve my stuff. As I walked in, I saw it. An eensy-teeny tiny little sign that indicated work in the locker room from 9AM - 11AM every Wed. Not on a wet floor sign where everyone would be able to see it. It's almost as if he put the signage there himself so he could catch girls changing. Nevertheless, it was past 11AM when I was there and the sign did not indicate a MALE worker will be in the WOMEN'S locker room. Each employee can be labeled as either lazy or incompetent. Lastly, the atmosphere sucks. The music is worse than at Planet Fitness. The TV channels suck too. Once, I was working out by the weights and they were doing an hour long segment on children with cleft lips. Poor babies. Who wants to watch that working out? How difficult can it be for a staff member to plug

Great gym for the price, plenty of equipment so you can get a quick workout in even when it's packed. Wish it was open 24 hours

They advertise a free 3-day guest pass but once you go to the front desk they said that it’s not in their policy to give out free passes and that you must $25 for the 3 days or sign up for a membership. After speaking with corporate and confirming that we do not have to pay for a guest pass at this location, Crystal (front desk lady) continued to deny us and said that their location policy is different and if we wanted to enter the gym we must pay the $25. It’s truly disgusting and disappointing how my friends and I were treated. They’re unprofessional and if this is how 24 hour fitness treat customers I recommend that people don’t come to this location at all. The east colonial location is more efficient and treat their customers better

So my friend had used his account to sign me in a couple times to work out with him. I actually liked the gym so I signed up for the 3 day guest pass and the taller black manager can't recall his name rejected my guest pass because he recognized me in the gym prior to getting my guest pass so I thought that was very poor customer service I didn't read anything about not being able to use a guest pass if you've ever set foot in there and how you call yourself 24hr fitness and you close at 11 like make it make sense

I downloaded a 3 day pass to try out a new gym and upon arrival was not even greeted. I let the receptionist know I downloaded a pass and her first remark to me was “What are you here for?” “Do you want a membership?” I let her know I was there to workout and she snatched my ID from me, did something on the computer and told me I would not be able to use my pass. I left and went to the colonial location which was such a great experience I got a membership after my workout but had to drive 20 mins away vs this location which is right next door to me. I later called to ask for the receptionist name and GM contact information and was hung up on. After seeing the reviews it looks like the GM is just like her staff and not worth even mentioning this to. Very disappointed.

Gym is DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. It doesn't look like it's been cleaned in over a year. Hair and dust cover floors and machines both bottle fillers on the cold water fountains have been broken for months. For the $44.00 in monthly dues, plus an annual fee I expect better. Canceling if gym doesn't get gutted soon.

The upkeep of the gym has gone downhill. The women's bathrooms smell like urine, it looks like the stalls haven't been cleaned in a while and the floors in general appear dirty.

Didn’t think I’d have to check the hours for a “24 HOUR FITNESS” this is NOT open for 24 hours. A waste of my time and money. Trash.

Sorry to post this but last year I complained about the maintenance of the pool. A year later they will tell you they cleaned to pool but they haven’t. Who ever they hired doesn’t brush the steps and sides. What will it take to get this corrected. I will not go in a pool like that. Other major clubs pools have zero yellow mold or scum. Shaq please help us!!!!

More expensive than other gyms around it. High enrollment fees and they wonder why people are building home gymsWhy would I pay more when there are better options around
