lived at Haven at Lake Deer in Winter Haven for about 5 years and moved out on 3/12/24. Months later I still haven’t received my security deposit back. Everytime I called the management office I got different excuses. The 1st one I got was I just have to be patient as the check had to be on its way. The 2nd excuse was the delay must be because the main office which is RAM Partners moved to another location and it’s located out of State. I wasn’t born yesterday. I’ve received snail mails and packages coming from out of State. I’ve received quite a few mails and packages coming from out of State and even out of the country last couple of months. The 3rd excuse I got was there was an mis spelt word in my address. I was told “Park” was spelt “Part.” That was just out of nowhere as I checked and double checked the forwarding address until then. The 4th excuse I got on May 21, 2024 was that there was a technical issue in their system that failed to automatically generate the security check refund when a tenant moves out. I was told they finally found that issue and fixed it. That was May 21st. I waited another week. I called the Haven at Lake Deer management office again and was advised to email to the property manger. So I did. That was last Friday. And I waited another week. I registered for informed delivery in USPS system. No sign of the check coming my way. I also left a message on RAM PARTNERS LLC website last week. Now a week has passed. Nobody from Ram Partners or Haven at Lake Deer contacted me regarding the issue. I just called Haven at Lake Deer again. For the 1st time the property manager herself picked up the phone. She gave me the same excuse that there was a technical issue for the computer system and said I should wait another 10-15 days. So I said I was told the issue was fixed the previous week. Then she put me on hold as she said she was going to investigate. I was holding, holding, holding then I heard a voice message saying I should leave a message. Then I called them multiple times, expecting someone to pick up. My calls l; went straight to the voice mail.
I just sent a demand letter to the property manager and decided to leave a comment in public as RAM Partners website contact me section seems useless.
I’ll add more pictures or edit the review in the future if necessary.

Margie has made my approval and move in process She’s also helped me out with some difficulties I encountered along the way. The office staff has also been a pleasure to speak with. The complex is well maintained and peaceful. My wife and I are very excited to be a part of the community! Awesome customer service and care

Very nice place to call home quiet and close to everything shopping restaurants entertainment etc.I am in the process of renewing my lease for the 6th year been here since April 2017 never had any major problems or concerns Whenwver I need maintenance they are very prompt in responding and they are very congenial and respectful. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Tammy and Odus they show they care they ho above and Beyond to make living here more of a pleasure Thank you Tammy and Odalis your the Best I recommend Haven at Lake Deer if your looking for a great apartment Complex..

The only maintenance request that I STILL have open is well over 6 months old. The window in the guest bedroom has been leaking since last hurricane season. I received a vm indicating that the window would be fixed on 4/26/24 but no one showed up. Got another message and confirmed with maintenance manager that the vendor will be at the apartment on 5/3/24 but another NO SHOW. So we still have a leaky window but I am getting a survey on my experience??? How was my experience? WHAT EXPERIENCE is my response!!!!

It's been two months since I submittted a maintenance request for my hot water heater, no response, hot water heater still broken. Dryer is now dead too. Don't give these criminals anything.

When I first moved into this place everything was cool … I enjoyed it … Then out of nowhere I started having roach issues , my refrigerator broke down , floods every other week , power outages (not with teco ) . Roach issue was never corrected Nomatter how many times exterminator came out … I went almost two years with a refrigerator that legit leaked on my food and spoiled it … spent more money on food than ever in my life !!! , they finally replaced it with a used fridge after complaining to corporate. The upstairs apartment leaked and caused water damage to baseboards , my food in the pantry , and ceilings … you would think they will discount the rent for all the issues I had and made clear lol NOPE ! They wanted their money on time , while I had to live in these conditions. They will shut the water off and never send out communications but I mean it was the same with the power …and I work from home ! The money I lost at this place and the money I dished out is crazy !!!! It’s not worth being here … don’t do it … and this is coming from someone who didn’t have problems with this complex at first ! Btw … anything the office do for you lol they ask for reviews after doing what’s rightfully their job to do !
