The desk associates are friendly , professional and knowledgeable.The Optometrists are the best, and informative whether you have ?️ issues or not. The wait time is quick! The prices are affordable and the frames are ?. See you guys soon!

Buyer Alert : predatory selling practices . There is something about Americas Best sales culture and upselling that I find creepy and annoying . I went for a contact script and paid in full on a Saturday their advertised price . They told me I could not take it with me because they had to have a consultation about it . I said fine . Can you email it ? . They said they had to mail it . I said ok mail it then . The following Wednesday I get a call saying I have to pick it up and sign for it .Why did they not send it out ? Maybe they wanted to charge me $185.00 for one pair of contacts when I could get the exact same brand for $70.00 for the pair at Discount contacts .com online. That is before a 20 % discount code . I was just going to let it slide but I thought people should know about this overcharging. I should have known better to go there because at a previous visit years ago I had refused their up sell attempts and they told me my eyes would fall out of my head .

Everyone is very nice and helpful, overall amazing experience, Michael is great, you can tell he is a good manager the way he helps customers/patients as well as the staff. Shoutout to the big guy.?

Had to reschedule an appointment for my son, and I did so online. Confirmed via text and online after I Confirmed I received a voicemail of an older lady YELLING no lie I saved the recording belittling me, and that if I didn't call HER back asap to confirm she'd cancel my appointment due to a previous rescheduling, and a no show last year at another location when my father died! I'm a widowed mom of 4, limited income, but after hearing this obviously mentally unstable person I chose to NOT take my young son, as well as his brother that day who also had an appointment. Honestly I'd rather pay twice for kind, and normal service that would allow my CHILDREN to feel welcomed and safe. I'd also like to add that my young son got his first exam here about 3 years ago, and they were great and welcoming, but I didn't recall interacting with an older lady then...

Unbelievable how staff treats their customers. While I was waiting to be attended to, there were 2 incidents with customers and one employee who works sizing glasses. One customer stated if you don’t like working here, then don’t work here! He stormed out of there. The next customer was rudely spoken to rather than hearing out the customer’s concerns about her son’s glasses; she asked kindly for the return of her glasses and stated that she would go to another location. I was called up and as I addressed my issue (about my contact Rx) I was questioned and felt belittled because I paid $169 for an exam (in December) and was not able to purchase 2 boxes of contacts at the time which would have been another $154. The employees at Winter Haven should be required to address the customers concerns/questions without any judgement or attitude. This is very unprofessional and I am upset to experience this treatment at my neighborhood America’s Best store. I should not feel the need to drive further to get results and better treatment! Do better!!

I looked around for frames that met my needs. They have a nice variety and price ranges. Ryan, Mary, and Zuly were helpful. Double Check your insurance and this provider. I found frames I like for $99.⁰⁰; but, they do not take my insurance. I will be back to spend cash, if I cannot locate a provider (taking Premier Vision). Read Reviews. There was no "wait"; but, others did have appointments.

My daughter lost a screw on her glasses during a soccer game, we came in without appointment and in a rush and they took care of us immediately. Tried to pay for the service but they wouldn’t let me. Michael did a great job taking care of us. I highly recommend this store for its customer service.

Went here for an eye exam and new glasses. Everyone was really friendly and the process was very fast. Micheal was a huge help. Will definitely be back.

0 stars if i could. I have used America's best for years for my eyeball needs. When I set my appointments online last time they moved my appointment without notification. So I rescheduled for a Saturday do to work. That Saturday I was 5 mins late and the person at the front desk tells me I was late and the doc has already cleaned up and left. 5 mins late.... so you were cleaning to leave well before my appointment because no cleaning and machine shut down takes 5 mins. So I went without replacing my glasses for another year. I recently lost my glasses and called to set up an appointment for today. The guy answers the phone tells me there is no openings till Friday and tells me they do jot take walk ins. It clearly sais walk ins welcome on the website. I'm pretty shore it even sais it on the commercial on TV. I tried to express the need for my glasses which the man had no remorse. Without my glasses I can't drive, work, pretty close to not seeing. I will no longer use the winterhaven facility. I will drive the 45 mins to the north lakeland facility who always picks up my appointment and has never sent me away. If it wasn't for the north lakeland facility I would not continue my business with America's best. Something needs to be done about the winterhaven facility. These issues have happened multiple times over the past few years.

January 5, 2024 I got my eyes exam done and I purchase two pairs of glasses. First it was a little miss understanding. But nothing that the store manager Michael can’t fix . He work with me and I’m very happy . Great people and great service.

My glasses broke and I am a long way from home - CA to be exact. Michael was amazing and found a frame to fit them. I am super dependent on my glasses so they saved me! Thank you so much!

I have had a lot of problems with my hearing aid so I decided to go to another place to talk about new hearing aids that when I went America Best in winter haven. Marla noticed I had the hearing aid in wrong ear, when I bought them a couple years ago I was never told that hearing aids had a blue and a red . She was extremely helpful now I hear much better thanks to America Best in winter raven Fl she probably saved me about $4000 I was prepared to buy new ones now I hear everything thanks Marla
