“Everyone in there is really nice and will go out of there way if/when needed. Its a smaller almost maw/paw type feeling location. I rarely had wait more than a minute or too but usually get right in. Wait maybe i shouldn't leave a good review and keep it a secret! Thank you to all the staff in there for working hard while still being pleasent and helpful. Never had one issue shipping out of that office. After it levaea there can be another story though lol. Good poeple”

“This is the most adorable little old-fashioned post office. It is something to just walk into to see the old gold colored post office boxes with key holes. The people who work at this post office are generally lovely. The Oakland Post Master is a cantankerous, angry man, who if you ask a question of him, raises his voice at you and starts to "preach" at you, depending on what question you asked. He apparently has been at the Oakland Post Office for quite a while and feels like he has the right to dictate local politics and to express his opinion on any topic. If I see him at the window, I say nothing, get my business done, and try to leave before he can go off on me. Don't get me wrong, everybody else that works there is 100% lovely. He is not frequently at the window, thank goodness. Otherwise it is a quaint, customer oriented, and kind place to be. I recommend it if he is not there.”

“This particular post office is a little hard to find as it is in a small building on a side street just off of West Colonial Drive in the Pine Hills section of Orlando, Florida.The parking lot is not large by any means, but again, this is small post office.Ultimately, this post office served its purpose and I was able to get some mail out.Overall, I will give it four stars”
“I had the pleasure of being helped by Phillip at the Gotha location today. There was a woman in front of me with many envelopes that needed to be stamped and he was very patient with her. He had a great personality and you could tell that he genuinely loved helping others. Give Phillip a raise! He was awesome!”
“Due to the sheer incompetence of the backup delivery driver on Apr 29, 2024 a package that I was due to receive (and had been scanned as delivered) had actually been determined to be NSA or Non-Sufficient Address and marked as RTS (return to sender). I was furious since I knew that USPS customer service was highly lacking due to several previous issues that went unresolved. I ended up making an in-person visit to the Hiawassee Branch to see if they could locate my "NSA" package from.the previous evening. Tracy took my tracking number and then went into the back to find it, the whole while I was crossing my fingers. When she came back out with the envelope, I was instantly relieved and highly appreciative! Thank you SOOOOOOO much Tracy! I really appreciate you going above and beyond to fix this situation.
Oh and 1 star and SHAME to the delivery driver who put down my package as NSA. The address WAS correct and even matched the address of another mailpiece that I received that evening,. You probably couldn't be bothered to do your job and are the reason why I have had such a poor experience with USPS in the past. DO BETTER.”
“I’ve learned in my 15+ years in Marketing that in most cases the way we approach a person will dictate how they respond. I had the pleasure of speaking to a very nice lady named Rhonda who was very apologetic about my package being missed on a pickup. She got it taken care of immediately and arranged for the pickup before the day closed. See I remember always that I’m a customer when I’m not in my work attire. I have to treat my customers how I want to be treated. (The Golden Rule) It’s easy for us as customers to forget that and we can’t even imagine how rude we can be and how the interaction before you stepped in the building could have made the representative upset. We don’t know what it takes for people to show up to work everyday. Life is not a joke and many people live on the edge of existence. I challenge everyone to self examine and ask what can I do to make our local post Office a better place. I dare you to shower them with love and appreciation. It’s important that the US Post offices keep thriving because they are an important element in the economy.”

“I dont know why this place has an average rating. This place is the best! The clerks behind the counter are great. They treat me with respect. They might be zoned in but they always get the job done. When I gave 2 clerks compliments they smiled and were happy. Those guys were Anthony and Chris. Compliments go a long way, trust me! I always come here when I need to ship important documents out. Don't let the bad ratings fool you”
