“Been shopping at this PetSmart for going on 2 years, thanks to the addition of our zany labradoodle, who not only loves shopping there, but also loved puppy classes, and then privates, with Camille (who is a 10!).
The store stocks a ton, and will price-match both local competitors AND major online competitors. A few caveats, one that really sucks, if I'm being honest. While Petsmart will price-match competitors, I never expected that the single biggest "competitor" I would have to constantly ask them to price-match is... their own chain!
It is beyond me why a large, reputable chain such as Petsmart has completely different pricing online than it does in-store, for the exact same items! For example, our dogs edible bone treats (a girl has to have her afternoon snack each day)... $16.99 on the shelf in the store... $11.52 on Petsmart's website. So if you don't order online for delivery, or for in-store pick-up, or ask for price-matching inside the store, for the exact same item you will pay over 32% MORE for the convenience of driving to the store and buying off the shelf (all promotions, both online and in-store, apply to either price, but still... that's ridiculous!).
And it used to be easy to have the clerks price-match, even if it was their own store, but you still had to bring up their website on your phone each and every time (and this store's wifi is very spotty, as the cell service in this shopping area is horrible on a regular basis), and you have to prove to them that it's the current date/time stamp on your screenshot (I always have to screenshot b/c the wifi doesn't work well enough most of the time, so I have to plan ahead before I leave home... again, ridiculous). WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, PETSMART? Why do you inconvenience your customers AND your great team members, who... with their "new and improved" cash register/computer system, went from the cashiers having the ability to apply price-matching, $ off coupons from competitors (warning, you must print and bring in $ off competitor coupons unique to the competitors' stores, not just show it on your mobile device).
But now... the cashier has to have a mgr key in every single price-match... the lines take forever now, whereas before, they were always pretty speedy. This is zero reflection on the great team members in our store - everyone tries so hard to be friendly and helpful, but this method of trying to take advantage of customers who are loyal and shop in-store, without advising them of often MUCH lower prices on Petsmart's own website... that reeks of "shall-not-be-mentioned" competitors who should be ashamed of how they try to mislead customers. This does not at all match with Petsmart's customer service credo - not in the least!
Ok, all that being said, we've always found the team at this store to be amazing, and knowledgable! We've made friends forever at this store (as has our little fuzzy girl). And that's what keeps us coming back! Gotta take 1 star off for the ridiculous price-matching debacle, but otherwise, 5-stars all the way around!”
“They did a great job grooming my Barkley & Lucy. I love how they were very patient with them. I know my little one could be very squirmy. They listened to what I wanted them to look like & come close to what I wanted. I rewarded them with some wood gang pumpkin softies which is their favorite! I will be returning!!”
“Kim and Co are absolutely amazing. I'm a new dog owner and really don't know anything about proper nutrition for puppies. I visited Gracies for the first time this week and they took the time to explain everything and make plenty of recommendations for my stubborn, picky, pooch. Also told us what food can make our certain breeds stomach sick. They truly care about my pets health and I know I'm getting exactly what my puppy needs. Thank you Gracies!
