Horrible day of golf due to pace of play. had to wait ON EVERY SHOT from the 2nd hole on. some tee boxes we had to wait over 5 minutes to tee off. Ranger told us groups in front of us were slow but couldn't get them to pick up the pace. drove over an hour to play here, won't make that mistake again! Too many other nice courses in Central Florida who are not afraid to push slow players along .

Recently spent a few nights at the lodge and played both of their 18 hole courses. First the Lodge. The lady at the front desk is super friendly and kind. I told her that I had a late flight and I was going to be sleeping in my car at the lodge because I had an early tee time. She then set it up so that I could get into my room early because it was going to be “too cold to sleep in a car”!! The rooms are nothing to write home about, but they have everything someone on a golf trip needs: A clean room with comfortable beds, a hot shower, and a mini fridge!!! Now to the golf. Both of the courses were recently overseeded, but were in beautiful condition!!! Every person I came in contact with from bag drop, to the pro shop, to the starters and greens crew were friendly and helpful. All-in-all this was a perfect little winter get away!!!Food & drinks: The restaurant has some very good chicken tenders!!!

This motel and the person working at 4:30pm at 11/30/23 were not nice. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE. It will be told to you that it cannot be refunded. Ever smell sulfur water before? That was it! This motel is slacking. The television was held up by a pallet nailed to the wall. At least it was painted. The door was in such poor condition that it had to be forced open... from the inside, as well as when trying to gain entrance. Location was the only positive attribute due to it being close to the courses.

Played Panther Lake on 11/10/23. The course was in good shape, a little worn in some places, but nothing terrible. It was cart path only because of seasonal overseeing that had just taken place which was unfortunate, but I will never fault a course for seasonal maintenance it was just bad timing. We were on a golf trip 12 guys who all flew in from out of town, and most of us this was our first time playing in Florida. This was our first course of the trip and couldn't have been more disappointed with the service. We teed off late because of the slow pace of play (cart path only will cause that) The starter didn't even greet us when we pulled up to the tee and didn't get up from his golf cart. He seemed miserable to be there and we had to start asking him questions to get any info out of him.The Snack Bar positioned on whole 1 & 10 was not open and come to find out after the round from the staff, it is never open. The starter said don't worry the cart girl will be around and she was .... on hole 2 and hole 17. Mind you it was 86º that day. We had 12 guys who were looking to spend money on food and the turn and drinks during the round, had we known we wouldn't see her again or have an option to get anything at the turn we would have loaded up at the club house before the round or the first time we saw her at the beginning of the round.All-in-all it was beautiful facility and an enjoyable course to play but that is what I will tell people about it and I will warn them to not expect much in terms of service.

Played Panther Lake. Cartpaths only because of over-seeding, but a ranger kept asking us to speed up. We had nobody behind us and finished in just over 4 hours. Not sure what the hurry up was but for what we paid all he should have said was "Thank You."2 days later played Crooked Cat and had a much better time. Really fun courses, just pricey.

Great course. It was n perfect shape. Hotel room has no complaints, normal room good price. The only complaint is if you book a room make sure they give you a discount on the golf, they dropped the ball with that one making me pay full price for 2 rounds of golf with no reimbursement.

Really gorgeous grounds! Absolutely sprawling! I visited for the LIV Golf Tournament and I think they did a really fantastic job. Easy to walk around and visit the driving range and putting greens. Great way to interact with the players. I’ll be back.

This place was pretty amazing from the time we set foot. The driving range is literally massive, although a little confusing because there is so much space when we were there no one was able to tell us where to hit. We eventually figured it out though. Practice facility and the putting green is amazing as well.We played Crooked Cat on 6-22-23. I would say overall the course needed a little help. My son and I played the ball up in all the fairways because generally if you were in the fairway you needed to improve your lie because of dead grass and what not. The course was green and lush though and we really loved the layout and the dog legs and what not.Bunkers were generally maintained. Some looked like they hadn’t been raked in awhile. Greens were pretty darn good. Not super smooth just good enough. Service was great. Staff took care of my son well when we were there. We both said we can’t wait to come back again if we are ever back in Orlando area! Overall a really cool facility with some pretty top notch courses!

As an Orlando native, who’s played golf my entire life, and owns a business, this place just doesn’t do it right in terms of customer service. They are arrogant and rude to customers for the most part. I’ve played here maybe ten times in five years, and it’s continually five hour rounds with no ranger in sight and arrogance from staff. Finally today we were allowed to tee off in the rain, then allowed to play through a storm (with lightning), but then once it cleared a bit they suspended play. No big deal right? Then, out of the blue, there’s rangers basically escorting us off the course demanding we leave.… Well, as it turns out there’s some tournament happening at the same time. The tournament players are then allowed to go play their round while anyone else who paid the greens fee of 70 bucks is told that they are not allowed to go back out on the course for awhile. To add insult to injury, our group is then told if we don’t like it to get our money back. So we took our business to another course, and had a great day.Don’t be like me. Save your time and money. Go to another course that wants you there and will treat you right. Orlando is packed with great courses that also have amazing customer service.

I played Panther Lake and it's definitely worth playing. It is in great shape and has a great layout. It's fun for all due to the various tee selections. The staff at the clubhouse were very friendly, the starter not so much. My experience was not the greatest but I'm hopeful that it was a fluke. Unfortunately, on the first hole the sprinklers next to our carts went off and soaked my whole cart. We were the third tee time out that morning, we were surprised to see the sprinklers on while they had golfers out. My ranger finder was magnetically held onto the cart and was launched about 30ft from the cart and destroyed. For the first nine I was soaked and my whole cart since all of our towels were wet from the sprinklers soaking our whole bags. I was unable to get ahold of the clubhouse or lounge by calling their number on the scorecard multiple times. After attempting to call I used the messaging system on the cart multiple times to call a player's assistant and received no response. In the end I received a $90 credit, still having to replace my $250 rangefinder but it's something.

Even if you plan on not warming up, show up early. The facility is huge. Its a 5 min cart ride from the practice range to the 1st tee box of Panther Lake. It's just gorgeous. These pics are from the course not in its greatest shape according to people I played with and was still amazing. Its just textbook in the way of layout. They do PGA events here. Its just awesome. Panther Lake plays longer to me, but it's more forgiving. Crooked Cat is a tougher layout in my opinion but still just as fun.The only way I would play the Tooth course is if I was staying there at the Lodge. You apparently get unlimited play on that course if you're staying there, which is a 9 hole par 3 course. So I would avoid it otherwise, nothing against it. Its just driving that far out to play a par 3 course when the other two are there is like going to Mexico and eating Taco Bell.I've never seen the greens in bad shape. In the hottest part of the year you may find a little patchiness here and there on the fairways but still very playable. Greens roll smooth and very fast.Staff is very friendly and the lunch menu is diverse enough and affordable. Not too many dishes above $15 and the food is definitely above the hotdog/sandwich combo you would find at a lot of courses.

We had an amazing time playing in the FSGA tournament at Crooked Cat golf course last week. We have been there several times already and would like to say that the course layouts are amazing and in nice condition, offering a good challenge. The bunkers were nice and well-manicured. The staff was hospitable and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout. This beautiful course provided a perfect backdrop for stunning pictures while enjoying our round. Highly recommended

Love this course most of the time. The range is impeccable and the tooth is a fun place to practice and walk. Being that this is the course closest to my house, I’ve played all three of these courses a lot. I came by today and was expecting plush, perfect, professional level conditions like how it usual. We played the cat and the Fairways looked weeded out and dead along with many other cosmetic/ surface level issues. For the top dollar thats being paid, I just hoped for how it used to be. I know they are putting in work on Panther Lake at the moment but thats no excuse to essentially neglect the other kid (crooked cat). Still love this course just want to see more TLC from maintenance.

Wonderful golf course that is in terrible condition. I have played this course many times. There was barely any grass on most of the fairways. I mentioned it and they stated it is because of the weather. We played other courses during the same period and they were in fine shape. In todays world everyone just excepts everything. They get a ton of play so plenty of money funnels through there. You guys can do better!!! It’s still a great golf course!!!

Played Crooked Cat and Panther lake! Had an absolutely AMAZING TIME, the course layouts are awesome and give you a good challenge while still being a fun course to play! Staff was very hospitable and were very kind and super accommodating for us at BogeyPals to allow extra riders (my buddy and I’s girlfriends) to record, take pictures and enjoy the beautiful layout while we golfed! Thanks for the great golf OCN!
