Spent about $300 on an amendment of my taxes only for my payment plan to not have gone through. Received a letter from the IRS stating I needed to pay in full by July 1st with additional interest tacked on. Apparently, multiple people who used this business received this letter as well. I was told to leave it alone and that Shane would call me by July 15th to initiate a conference call with the IRS to find out why my payments were not being taken out. I decided to pay my bill in full so as not to receive further penalties. July 15th has come and gone and I still have not heard back from Shane. Glad I trusted my instincts and just paid my whole bill. Will not be using them again.

This was our first time having our taxes prepared by Federated Tax Services. We came into Shane’s office a little over a week before the tax deadline and we felt right away that we were in good hands. Shane’s tax knowledge, hard work, and dedication was very impressive to us. He even found mistakes from previous years prepared by other tax professionals. We are so thankful that we found Federated Tax Services!

I love working with Shane from Federated tax services. He is very knowledgeable and cordial, and willing to answer questions. He is also knowledgeable for more complex, tax scenarios, including real estate and cryptocurrency. Prices are reasonable and it’s a low stress experience. Highly recommend!
