We have been going to a different vet for about 4 years and every time the experience got worse. We hated the experience just as much as our cats did. Our cats would sit an hour+ in the clinic room to only be grabbed and taken to the back room for their shots and yearly tests. We were lucky to be able to talk to the doctor for more than 1-2 minutes. Our last visit lasted 3 hours for a single cat checkup so we looked for a different vet.

Our family raved about Hunter’s Creek Animal Hospital so we thought we’d give it a try. The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating during our visit and made sure our cats were cared for and their owners calm during a stressful visit. Dr. Bayer came in and performed all of the yearly tests and administered their vaccines all in the room. We got to see the care and attention that the doctor provided for our cats during the visit. Both cats were as calm as could be and got to see us the entire time. At one point I was tearing up because it felt like we really found a place that truly cared about our cats. We weren’t some number on a list or part of a queue that needed to be finished. I think this office should be proud that they are providing such a well needed service for their community with professionalism and compassion.

Update: We’ve been taking our cats here for a few years now and while they obviously are never overjoyed to be at the vet, they are so calm with Dr. Bayer and his staff. ? We are extremely grateful for this vet office.”

My dog has been seen by multiple doctors and assistants, but I'd like to leave a special thanks to Dr. Eliscu and Dr. Joyner.

Recently, my dog went through a life-threatening situation, and Dr. Joyner accurately spotted the issue during a physical examination when I took him in. If the doctor didn't spot the issue in the first place, it's possible that my dog's life couldn't have been saved. Dr. Joyner has seen my dog through rough times in the past too, and her empathy, accuracy, and eagerness to save my dog each time has been very appreciative. I am glad that my dog is seen by such a wonderful doctor.

Also importantly, without Dr. Eliscu's precise surgery, my dog wouldn't be here today. Even during her day off, when it was mentioned that my dog needs an emergency surgery, the doctor quickly ran over to the clinic to get the operation done within the same day. Thankfully, the operation went well, and my dog is recovering day by day. Additionally, Dr. Eliscu has been providing excellent support even after the surgery; calling in one or more times daily to check how my dog is doing. She even went to the clinic the day after the surgery to call me to check up my dog's status. Every time she hears or sees a good sign during the recovery process, she demonstrates her happiness as if it was of her own dog's. My dog is so lucky to be taken care of such an amazing doctor who is so caring and skilled as a surgeon.

“If I could give 1,000 stars I would. We evacuated to Orlando during Hurricane Milton. It became apparent that morning that our beloved Cooper couldn't hang on any longer. Dr. Hayes and his staff could not have been more understanding, supportive and stayed open that morning knowing that there could be people like us who desperately needed them.

At 17.5, Cooper's little body was failing him and while we had known the end was close for awhile, it became apparent he wasn't going to make it and we needed to help him pass peacefully. We walked into the clinic and immediately, Dr. Hayes assessed Cooper and told us we were already starting to lose him. He was the only dog we've ever had and I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate doctor to help me let him go.

We were out of town, staying at a hotel because our home wasn't safe, and Dr. Hayes and his staff made us feel like they had been our care team for Cooper's entire life (I wish they had). I will forever be grateful to them and I can honestly say we would drive from St. Pete to Orlando to have the kind of care we received with Cooper if we had any other pets.

“There is an infinite amount of amazing words to describe Dr. Shah, amazing, passionate, selfless. She goes above and beyond, and even beyond that to make sure your pet is doing ok. My cat recently had to stay at the office due to severe dehydration and new diagnosis of diabetes, and I never had a doubt in the care she provided. While my cat was at the office she would FaceTime me and send me videos because she knew how much of a nervous wreck I was, as it was my first time having to board my cat. Her prices are reasonable and Dr. Shah is very easy to communicate with, which makes the visits and hard times more bearable. Everyone at her office is extremely lovely, and makes you feel very welcomed and cared for while at the office. Dr. Shah told me she would do anything to make my cat feel better and she really did. “I want to give a shout out to Dr. Cappleman and her technician Nikki. We came in as an emergency appointment with our senior pup yesterday, and we pretty much knew that things were not looking good. Dr. Cappleman ran some diagnostics, and based on her findings was so thorough and patient in explaining what our dog was suffering from, and gave us time to process and to make a very difficult decision. Never did we feel rushed, and they made sure we had all the information. Once the decision was made that our dog's continued suffering was inhumane, Nikki kindly explained step by step how they would proceed, and what role we could play. My oldest daughter held our pup, and he peacefully let go. Dr. C and Nikki were absolutely solid in guiding us through this highly emotional moment.”

“Dr. Bruce may not have the best bedside manners, but he is a brilliant veterinarian, and he is hands down the best vet in Orlando. He may call you out if you're feeding your animal bad food or something, but it's all with good intentions. If you love your fur babies, this is the doc you can relay on to give it to you straight!!
