For me, it was not worth it. There was no strategy available to help mitigate taxation of a potential sale of a rental property.$250 an hour was too much. I was ready to leave after the first eight minutes. A more honest business practice would be the first let me consult and then have them respond if they could give information worth paying for instead of charging me upfront. That’s my recommendation and solution for the future.Update: I got the advice I needed from another source and found the advice they gave here was wrong. A long term rental property will be taxed as a long term capital gain (not as an investment or ordinary income). I knew it would be charged as a capital gain before I came in. I just wanted confirmation. I paid money to get the wrong answer and get confused.

This company is very unprofessional they charge you fees without showing you the documentation about what they're charging the fees for they have this girl named kamika who's the secretary she's very rude and kind of ghetto. They have this girl named Jill who answers the phone she's very condescending and dismissive she doesn't listen she's very rude as well. I would not use this company ever again for their services the experience was horrifying terrible and traumatic.

This company is very unprofessional, when you call and email them they are not responsive. They are very rude after they take your money they do not want to assist you any longer as they did before you paid them. They steal your money and do not manage the properties safety, cleanliness or landscaping. When you call them, they bounce you around to many different people who all yell at you like you are bothering them, although you are paying for their services.

I originally used Steve at RMS over 10 years ago when I was a 1099. Fast forward to the present and my wife and I were looking for someone to do our tax returns. I remembered the great experience I had with him and we made our appointment. We met with Lisa and she immediately made us feel comfortable with trusting our two small business and personal returns with them. Thank you, you have a customer for life.

I gave an excellent rating because I felt I was given excellent service. The last 10 years has seen at least 4 location changes and multiple W-2 from different company’s. I explained to Lisa what I needed and she took charge to get all documentation updated and government approved. She was professional with a great personality that made it pleasurable to get my log neglected affairs in order.

When I moved to Broward County I contacted 3 accounting firms to interview them. RMS was the only one to return my call. That told me a lot about the other two. I have been using RMS almost 4 years. RMS manages my HOA at The Grove in Wilton Manors. The owner Steve Weil has denied sending me information I am entitled too (what goes into background checks for Renters/Buyers/Roomates). The Association has also violated my PII (Personally Identifiable Information) by allowing a rogue board member to share my personally correspondence with another resident (I have lived in several places with HOA's NEVER has my information been shared). This individual (resident not board member) has confronted me and now I feel unsafe in my own home.\nRMS is also taking a 3% fee to manage 50 years repairs (owners currently have been hit with a $12K special assessment).\nRMS is not fulfilling their duties to \
