I have been to this park multiple times for events, for a walk, to watch friends play sports, etc.Hagen Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities for youth to seniors. The outside amenities include a playground (designed for children 2-12 years old), restrooms, sand volleyball court, basketball courts, a 21'x31' pavilion, walking trail, six tennis courts and a Community Center. The Community Center is home to the Leisure Services Administrative offices, Island City Fitness Center and a 48' x 67' multi-purpose room that can be divided into two separate rooms. The facility is also equipped with a full service kitchen with an ice maker, stove, large refrigerator, freezer and a sink. A large screen TV, DVD player, 8′ rectangular tables, 60′ round tables, chairs and a piano are also available.Hagen Park Community Center and Pavilion are also available for rentals, special events, meetings, weddings, birthday parties, reunions, union ceremonies, etc. It's convenient location right behind City Hall makes it easy to find and easy to access.

We were here today for the Wilton Manors Car Show, and had a great time! The grounds are well kept, and the facilities looked to be in good shape. We spent all of our time outside ogling at the cars being shown, so I can't speak to the inside of the buildings. There's a playground, a basketball/tennis court, a main building, and restrooms. The parking lot is ample (enough to have 4 - 5 rows of show cars, and easy enough to get into. The park is located in Wilton Manors on the main road of Wilton Drive. The only paid parking I saw was for overnight parking from the hours of 6p - 3a, and it's pay-by-license at the meter or you can pay by app. Overall, this is a great park to have an event or to just hang out and enjoy the outdoors!

Hagen Park is located next to City Hall in Wilton Manors. I noticed it while browsing at a rummage sale being held at City Hall and I came over to see if there was anywhere to exercise after I finished. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very nice paved exercise path. After walking around a bit I found a lot of other amenities in this almost 6 acre park. They included a playground (currently closed), restrooms (clean) , sand volleyball court, basket ball, pavilion, and a community center with kitchen and meeting hall. The park is also the home of the Hagen Park Tennis Center which has two Hydro-Grid tennis courts and four asphalt courts. Daily open play is available along with annual memberships. The community center and pavilion are available for rentals. Not many people were using the park but it was very nicely landscaped and everything looked very clean and well maintained. It was a great idea planning a community park so close to town hall because it provides the perfect place for the city to stage events in the center of it's downtown. I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip to come here but it fulfilled my need on the day I found it.

Wilton Manors rec center and leisure services; truly anemic efforts, chair yoga and a balance class and one small workout room you have to be buzzed into like its the Pentagon, a space thats seems rarely used. Is this a budget issue or just institutional inertia? Such a lack of thought and effort

Thinking about a tennis club to join? Skip this one. Having been a member for over 10 years... it no longer is a wise decision to joing this one. 2 clay courts and hard courts. Want to play on clay? Most times not available. The pro there has them reserved during the most popular times, and she is making money off it. Private lessons, round robins and other are available to her to use as she wishes. Many (probably most) of these people playing are not even residents nor club members. So I, and many others do not have availability to play on clay, and as older members, we should have priority when there is only 2 courts available. The pro and other pros make money off these events, and the people who pay a hefty yearly fee to the City, cannot use the courts. The pro should be using the hard courts, allowing paid members to have availability to ALL the courts.
